Then again I never really post there, nor do I play to many games anymore, so I retract my self nomination. I would gladly mod something else though. Well, the only other place I want to moderate is the artworks and graphics forum. I don't really care much about the gamers, I don't really play too much games nowadays and don't post there often.

I am the same way, I normally just click on the gamers forum see if there is anything I care about, which is gernally nil, and then click on mark all topics as read link so I don't have to go through them all. I could maybe do off-the-wall or computing, or even artwork and graphics, though I only really post funny pics. All and all I don't think it matters too much though, I think we probably have enough mods right now, but if you are looking for any more psi in any of those sections I will take the power. 
PS Buz you should get your power back if you want it, you are probably the biggest poster in that section therefore you should be the moderator there.

Since what this thread is kinda about I will say this, I actually see you as someone who would not abuse your powers as much as Eldo or Femto would, though neither of them I really see abusing there powers. They might just do some editing of peoples posts, and maybe put something funny in there, but that is part of their job. You also only had your little island too, and you can't do that much there.
Before I realized how many mods there are I thought psi was the one doing all the work. I remember he was the only one I originally saw doing stuff, and I was thinking being a mod was a full time job, reading through all the threads to see what should not be said. But then I see he is smart and delegates his power to other people who are more or less in charge of smaller sections, and therefore take the responsibility off of him some. Either way it doesn't look like its a cake walk, though could be advantageous at times.
Actually I was originally thinking Buz was going to completely unregister from the server and stop posting. I was like he can't do it, and when he said done I was like damn. I went to look at the memberlist, and he was one of the first members to post, but I had rearranged it earlier, so his name was not there, and I was like he really did it. Then went over a page, and realized he is still there. I was like whew. I may tease him some, or even alot sometimes, I like the guy and wanted him to stay. Either way he did overreact some.

Yeah, as I'm sure Eldo will attest to, even though I can mod almost any part of the board, I generally only focus on select things and sections. I do browse nearly the whole board though, and it can be tough to decide when to take action. I try to pick my battles; hopefully I do a good job. Sometimes I worry that I may go to far, but that's part of the job. I'm always willing to admit I'm wrong, especially if its something I can understand and makes sense. *Shrugs*

Yeah, I agree with Starnum, we generally focus on the selected sections of the forums. Our iron grip extends over the board, which kind of makes us responsible for maintaining those sections. Sometimes it's pretty tough to manage, you have to browse through nearly all the threads to make sure they'll all in order; it's kinda nearly like an obligation, but not necessary compulsary. Hopefully I performed my duties flawlessly as a mod, and so far no complaints has been lodged...yet.

Yeah, I don't get it. I didn't see an excessive amount of ridicule, so I'm not sure why he reacted that way. As for Moding the board, I find, that even though I am pretty into posting and stuff anyway, it can still be time consuming. Then there's working on the manga, but I'm currently only a part of two projects, and I enjoy working on them too *shrugs*.
The job is NOT to edit other people's post to be funny, it is to help in clarification only. The only exception is because after a week, and the loser still has not gotten his/her act together and it is time to burn. They also take responsiblity for that alteration by posting who modified it, I have logs... and I do check them. I know all, and will smite with a big hammer. Other than that, Moderators (no matter who) do not modify other people's posts, even for shits and giggles.
