IMHO we can call this diversification. As mangaka, you get more attention and fan by having different types of hot chicks and boys. Orihime, Kuukaku and Matsu for breast lovers, Yoruichi for fit chick lovers, Soi Fon and Rukia for petite lovers etc.

I hate translating terms and names, especially on a manga I'm not too familiar on, I usually leave them blank. As for grande, I'm afraid, I made that one up, heh. But it's girian, I think you're right.

Actually, for page 10, I'm not quite sure what that term for the light is. It looks like it's 'reflector', but I'm not too certain about that.

The Negareon thing? I looked up the kanji and got it to "anti-membrane" or "opposite membranous wall". Then they go on about how nothing can touch what's inside the light, so I suppose it's either supposed to negate outside outside interference (as the furigana implies), or reflect it. Or both.

Actually, I know what the kanji individually means, one means 'opposite/counter', the other means 'membrane/film/coating'. But put together, it means an entirely different thing. It actually has something to do with optics, I think it's referring to reflectance or something.

Hmm, makes sense.

Makes me wonder if I'll ever be able to read kanji without furigana, or even understand them correctly with furigana... Kanji, the scourge of man.

Anyway, here is my take on page 10. I took a few liberties with the translation, but I think it gets the point across. I hope.

I don't really see Ichigo being to up for that. I mean he just wanted to save Rukia. Now with that accomplished (it is I hope). Now I'm not too sure if Yoru and Kisuke are looking to help out right now. Now maybe we will get a little more out of Kisuke the next time we see him.

edit: I finally saw what Yoruichi looks like in the anime and I'm fine with it.

Yeah, I think that's what he's saying. 'Always choosing the path that has the least bloodshed' type of sentence.

I didn't have time to do the last pages because I had to study 'n shitz... I probably don't have time now either, but I'll try.

Anyway, I am very grateful for the feedback- I've only been studying japanese for a bit more than a couple of years and I still have to allow myself quite a large margin of error, but it's good to see that I'm not too far off.

I just couldn't bring myself to remember what others have translated ryoka to, so I used "intruder" for it (kanji indicating travel/journey and another one indicating trouble). Er...

I got a bit lazy at the end so I just blacked out Ichigo's clothes and the sound effect...
