Hey, I accepted it. I only just saw it like last night, sorry if I kept you waiting. The request was at the very bottom of my friend list, and I had to scroll down to see it. Too bad it didn't give me a more noticeable...notice.
Anyway, I have like a 30 inch SD TV, but the screen is technically flat, though the TV itself isn't, heh. I know everyone in the free world probably disagrees with me, but personally I think HD is freakin over-rated. I mean yeah, it looks nice, but it doesn't look 600 – 1,000+ dollars nice. I might get one someday (like when the price comes down even more), but for now I'm just content having my PS3. My current TV is plenty big enough, and I've played the PS3 in HD, the increase in visual quality isn't THAT out of this world mind blowing. Yeah, of course I think it'd be cool to have one, but I need to get a new car this year. So for now, it'll have to continue to wait.

seriously, i cant go to regular tv. HD just makes it look that much better. Sports, video games, movies. The biggest difference, is the sound. the sound is just even better.

Theres a rumor that a $299 PS3 20gig is coming. I have no sources backing me up though...
Well, you're wrong. 20 gigs? Thats worthless. Didn't Sony already stop making a 20 gig? Stop pulling shit out your ass. The more likely prediction is they might drop the price of current models, but more likely let you get an extra game, when they come out with the 120 gig with the dual shock 3 around spring time. Thats my prediction and there are tidbits out there supporting it.
Whoa Whoa, I'm not complaining about prices. It's just a damn rumor i got it off some forum. Damn. Besides what's the problem of saving $100. You can do a lot with $100. Anyways I don't care about PS3 as much as 360.
Even though you make a good point.

Looks like Resistance 2 will have 60 player multiplayer with people divvied up into small squads with different objectives. Sounds innovative and cool, but I'm not sure how well it could be executed. There's also eight player online co-op which has a storyline separate from the single player campaign. Sounds pretty cool. The company also seems interested in switching from Ratchet and Clank and Resistance games every year. Hopefully that doesn't make the experience stale.

Resistance online was amazingly fun. That game was alien warfare. 60players on a server side will be competely easily done, i cant wait for them to release this game. 8 player co-op will be an awesome way to progress a story. Insomniac knows how to make weapons, just look at the ratchet and clank series. They just need to make sure headset and all those small features are done properly.

They're also talking about being able to pilot airplanes/alien ships in this game. Though I don't know how they would do this, though that would add literally a whole new dimension to the gameplay.

So basically it's gonna be Warhawk?
Anyway I bought a second hand Enchanted Arms yesterday and played a few hours. Seems like a very nice game, I really dig the combat system, and well the story seems to be the regular japanese RPG story, but whatever. PS3 needs more RPGs

This probably belongs to another thread but anyway: Go Sony! They unveiled a 3d hologram of Nessy in the toyko bay some time ago. Awesome presentation of a hologram without any surface to project it onto:
On second watching it looks like they spray water into the air and then project the hologram onto the water raining down? Still awesome.

Enchanted Arms was pretty fun. I enjoyed how the game was funny at times, but the voice actors were not too good. As for the RPG situation, we can always hold out for FFXIII

I've lost faith in the ff series it's just become an outright farce, ff 10 was the last final fantasy for me. btw I'm on my ps3 typing.

I hated FF10 with all my might. But FF12 was brilliant and fresh.

No you are wrong. FFX wasn't very good, but it did perfect the classical gameplay of the FF series. FFXII was an offline MMORPG with a Star Wars/Lord of the Rings crossover fanfic for a story.

Indeed FF12 was a LotR/Star Wars ripoff, but that's part of why I liked it. A game could rock my ass of to another world with its gameplay, if I thoroughly despised its characters and story, like I did with FFX, I wouldn't play it still.

well on FFX story I really didn't have a problem with it. I was content with the ending and all the elements. The main problem I had with it was that it was just soooo damn easy.
It took me awhile to get into the flow with FFXII but when I did, I really liked it. But I know for sure I won't be playing it again anytime soon. I've replayed all the FFs (except for IX).

I replayed FFX because I got the International version and it's cool, but the extras are minimal and you have to do almost everything to even enjoy them. So it's not that much fun to play again. FFVIII on the other hand is a little bit better (I got my 3 main characters to LV100 with all GFs and didn't finish it, that's why I'm playing it again but with codes).

Yu Yevon was the biggest slap in the face to the RPG playing community I can think of. I zombied the bitch and he practically killed himself with heals.
I'll definitely be checking out XIII though, hopefully it doesn't suck.

I predict a 87% chance of sux, and 13% chance of sunshine. But anywho I heard of a 120 gb ps3 this is getting ridiculous, I mean seriously, this is just putting the people who baught the 60 for 700$ to shame.

700? I got mine for 600. I heard that the 120GB doesn't have hardware emulation of PS2 games, which I think is kinda odd, but oh well.
