Don't know really.

One thing is obvious though that the sand in the past had two people that had shukaku sealed within them and both those time they were extracted. Makes you wonder how it works really. Does it return to the original seal in the kettle or what? Or did they retake shukaku and sealed it once more in the kettle?

And about the chapter, I still think it was kind of sad. Didn't seem he got to know his parents for a very long time so he built those puppets to comfort him and stuff ;o

I thought he made living dolls out of them as he did with the kazekage.
Meaning killed them in his childhood.

I think that time he's not yet EVIL, he looks like just a lonely ordinary boy...... well, maybe in the next chapter we'll learn Sasori's childhood and the reason that drives him EVIL.......

Maybe he isn't the puppet he is a puppeteer, hidden somewhere again.

But if you are able to control puppets better than the human body, why not change?
