V for Venddeta having more action scenes would have hurt the film, since its not about the action.

Did anyone watch Grandma's boy... it is funny as hell  Lots of drug humor, and video games. The coolest part was that the main chacter was a game tester, which was my dream job as a kid 8) but life in the bush doesnt give much opertunity for game testing :x

Oh well got to see it in a movie so it was like watching my dream, and it was cool

no really plot though but all the humor was great.

Grandma's Boy was OK as far as the humor goes. I like stuff like Wedding Crashers a bit more, where there is some semblance of a plot going on.

Happy Madison Productions kick ass!!! All they were missing was Adam Sandler :( but it was good humor, Convert's first time as a main chacter was good, the only charater I didnt care for was the best friend from Benchwarmers ( the weird closet guy). Anyway give it a try you might smile and that would be worth it :D

LOS ANGELES--When excited attendees left yesterday's Konami press conference, they were handed a catalog for Studio Kojima's forthcoming slate of games. However, many didn't know it, since the brochure was a clever imitation of the newsletter handed out each day at of the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

On the front of the Kojima catalog was a "breaking news" box, which bore the headline "Solid Snake...On the silver screen?" The blurb below it read, "In a late-breaking surprise announcement, director Hideo Kojima revealed that his most famous creation--Metal Gear Solid--is getting the live-action treatment."

Given the semicomic nature of the fake E3 newsletter/Kojima Productions catalog, many thought the story was a joke. However, on the last page of the pamphlet was a page-long article on the project, which showed that Kojima was dead serious when he made the announcement.

After assuring readers at length that German director Uwe Boll will not have anything to do with the project, as rumored, Kojima talked about the film. "I have received many offers to adapt Metal Gear Solid. It has taken a long time, but we have finally settled on an arrangement," said the revered designer. "False facts aside, a movie project is underway. I have finalized a Class-A contract with a party in Hollywood."

Kojima did not mention the name of the party, a release date, or any potential directors or stars. However, ever since the original PlayStation Metal Gear Soild, the English-language dialogue of game hero Solid Snake has been voiced by Hollywood figure David Hayter. Though a prolific voice actor, Hayter has enjoyed greater success as a screenwriter, with credits for X-Men, X2, and the forthcoming Watchmen under his belt.

I loved the whole serie. You learn a lot of things in cube Zero. You learn about the people that get in there and about the function of the cube. You also see some people that are involved in the whole thing. Is there any info about a next one ?

Yeah you get a little info from Zero, but still I want more (Im a spoiled little brat I know :P ).
I havent really looked it up if they will make another, but since its such a great idea that theyve already spun 3 movies from I dont (hope) they wont stop here.

Also saw "The new world" today. An ok movie but not much more. I expected a little more action from it :P

for that 1 and a half hours, we were regressed to kids agains and it was torture.

speaking about torturously bad movies, dont ever watch 'the promise' if it ever reaches your shores.

just saw MI3 today.
reminded me a lot of 'alias'.

Psi and I actually talked about this earlier. If he were to edit the post, it wouldn't look new to him - it'd still have the old post date on it. I editted the final post in the DS thread in Video Gaming and it looked to me like it was old. So I can understand where he would make a new post two days later.

There is a trick though you see. All you have to do to revive a thread is just edit your post, copy the damn thing, delete the old post and make a new post in it's place. It is real easy to do and can revive a thread no problem.
