Horrible Promotional Trailer
Theme Song
I guess Super Robot Wars: Original Generations came out today, already a torrent out. I don't have an english site for info about the game, since it's a japanese game and release, but wouldn't be unreasonable to expect the best of the series. Easily the best SRPG series I've ever played, and I've played all the SRPGs that matter. Downside is that it's not in english and the GBA games cover the same basic story, only this time it's beefed up with nice graphics and tons of extras.
GBA titles are more than worth checking out if you haven't heard of the series though, unless you don't like the genre.

I just got Resident Evil 4 for the Wii. I haven't really played much of the Gamecube version, so I'm not playing the game through a second time or whatever, and the Wii controls are pretty spot on. Overall, it's a very fun game so far. I usually don't play this sort of survival horror genre, so I'm not quite used to this yet (I'm a pure RPG fellow).

newbified wrote:again it's beyond foolish to think that Bethesda would leave the graphics the way they were in Fallout 1 and 2 with about a decade of graphical improvements to use. It was novel to think that Fallout 3 would be just like the first and second in look and feel, but nostalgia ends somewhere and I'm still hoping Bethesda can do this game right.
Well, according to IGN, there is an option to manipulate the camera and get the gameplay to at least have the feel of Fallout 2.

For anyone who cares, the Resident Evil 4 Translations FAQ has been updated (the update on GameFAQs is still pending, they have to check it first):

Anyone see the new Gameplay vidoe of MGS4? Where Kojima played Snake ? Go to Gametrailers.com now !!!
Sick how many new moves and other new things,. Must say it blowed my mind seeing how many new cool stuff he put in the game. Cant wait to kick ass even more stealthy

Kojima didn't play it, that other guy did.
But yeah, it looked a lot better than I had anticipated, even though the having to go in the menu to switch to full-body camouflage bit enraged me. I thought they'd have learned a bit more from MGS3.
And why can we pick up enemy weapons all of a sudden? They were synched to the soldiers' individual DNA profiles in MGS2, and now they're not? That really doesn't make any sense.
EDIT: Which reminds me- only for PS3 titles is it big news that it's running on "actual hardware".

I assumed it was Kojima cause you heard only him, you didnt see if it was him or another.
About enemy's weapon and the DNA.
Prolly there is a reason for that in the story. Maybe cause the enemy this time arent a real army, arent they Mercs or something.
I try to avoid all info about characters, story etc
I had to show you guys this the coolest diss i have ever seen in a review :
Eurogamer:
As Tenchu Z is already outclassed in every area by last generation stealth games like Metal Gear Solid 2, it fails almost completely when stacked up against Hitman: Blood Money, Splinter Cell: Double Agent or upcoming treats like Assassin's Creed. There are those die hards who'll still pick it up, and make half-hearted excuses for its shambolic nature, but, come on, it's time to let it go. The time is long overdue for Tenchu to follow Darwin's advice and evolve into something that deserves to survive or just lie down and die like the dinosaur it clearly is.
3/10

Did you not watch? When snake went to the wall or ground he was able to switch to a camo that closely resembles it.

Yes, but for full-body camo, like the statue bit, you have to go through the menu to put on his hat.

Its impossible to costumise the camo without going in the meny.
It would take too many buttons away for other moves.
Any long time fan of MSG are used to in the meny to get stuff, i dont even react to it these days. Plus its much quicker now than before going from menu to the game.
The game doesnt stop and wait for you like the old MGS games.

Apparently an MMO of the comic Ramayan 3392 is in the works. The thought of an MMO of a comic that tells the Ramayan in a future sci-fi setting really gets me stoked.

So now instead of getting mad at just your friends for being the wrong polarity, you can be mad at people all over the world!
I've heard that Rez on XBLA is going to be in HD and if that's true, then that's just swell.

I didn't know that, but that's pretty cool. Apparently Nicholas Cage is going to star in a film adaptation of "The Sadhu" which is pretty neat as well.
Anyways, apparently Ninja Gaiden 2 is going to be developed by Team Ninja, but the publisher shall be Microsoft. That means there will be no PS3 version which is a bummer for us PS3 owners.
