I watched Ran last night. Its by Akira Kurasawa and its from 85.
It was real beautiful looking movie, great camera work and pretty good Samurai story. 8.5/10
I need to watch more of his movies. I have only watched this and Yojimbo.
About new movies.
I am looking forward to the premier of The Simpsons. The greatest tv show of all time!!! By the way i love the last two seasons it back to being great after a couple of so so seasons.

Akira Kurosawa is amazing. I recommend you watch Seven Samurai, Sanjuro, and Rashomon. Also, Ikiru is one of my favorite movies, but its not a samurai flick.
This is from the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie, but I think they should play it before every movie:

I love samurai stuff i dont know why i havent watched all his movies samurai or not really.
Saw Lady Vengance finaly last night.
It was great from the start to the end almost as good as Old Boy and way better than the first movie. The lead actress was amazing. The music, the camera, all the characters was amazing. This director im a huge fan now. Cant wait for his next movie. Not as sick movie as Old Boy and the first movie but it was more about how to take vengance than why like Old and the first one.
9.5/10 the only not great thing was sometimes how he jumped from the flashbacks to the present. Alittle confusing in a scene or two.

Hairspray. Is it better then the original? I can't put myself to that. It was more focused on the dance and music then the race fight of the original. The movie was still great fun. Oh and I just love women dressed in 1960's outfits and hair...

I don't have the urge to see it, but c'mon... it has Cristopher Walken and Travolta is an old lady... that gotta warrant some laughs ...
