That's what I thought I was seeing, but I was thrown off by almost the same shade of it being on the cloak. I'm sorry for being blind.
EDIT: I increased my monitors brightness to 100 and I could see it clearly. I usually have it set at 25. Anything more and I'll go blind with how long I sit in front of this thing. Here's your avatar, hope it's what you wanted:

Whoops, I seem to have missed a slight bit of the shirt that's at the bottom of the pic...

I made it to Joystiq, you queers.

Unfortunately, it was somebody else's coloring that got posted on the site which makes me feel a little bitter about the whole thing.
Also, TMNT:

They updated the article, did you see this part?
Thanks to commenter Borman, we now know the origins of the sketch (later colored by other forum members) come from the Neo-Geo forums by an artist named hermegildo.
And the dude is in the comments taking credits for drawing and inking the picture. How come you're not ripping him a new asshole?

That had me laughing for a bit War Machine

.
When it was originally posted the drawing wasn't credited to Femto at all. The person who had colored it was given full credit, and subsequently was bitched at by Femto with his gay ava on the other forum he posted it on.

Didn't I post Optimus Prime here?
I guess not:
His head is too fucking small.
Way too fucking small.
He looks too much like a generic Japanese robot, which sucks.

well i guess there is no need for me to say anything about the head then, though i thought it looked more off center than small. it's still pretty good though

That's possible too.
I don't like his humongous arms either.
God, whatever was I thinking?

my guess is that you thought they were really long so they would look bigger in the foreground

. his hands are huge, but it seems much worse in the large picture when compared to the smaller one.
if you could somehow photoshop his head over to the left a bit so that it matched the middle of his two windshields, i think it'd improve the head area a whole lot.

Fuck, man.
You're absolutely right.
His head doesn't line up at all.
It wasn't really apparent to me until you told me.
I didn't notice how small his head was either until somebody else pointed it out to me.
I don't plan on ever fixing those mistakes though.
I mean, I could easily Photoshop it but I find that these pieces work better as a "lesson learned" sort of thing if I leave the glaring mistakes in for me to see every single time I look at them.

i would just say its great but maybe the composition could be more efficient. the use of the page seems a big unbalanced to me. but youve taken a lot of shit for this so ill give you a thumbs up. good work.

You're absolutely right though.
I tend to draw without thinking sometimes and that's far more noticeable in this piece than in others.
The coloring itself is pretty bad in places, I think.
The head is probably the best part, size notwithstanding.

I honestly dont think it's too small, just off center. i have a Q, would there be light shining on the right windshield? it seems a lil weird to me, but i have no idea what the shine would look like if there is any on it.

Yes, there would.
I did notice that as I was finishing the drawing and just gave it a big "fuck it."
Like somebody else told me, that Optimus Prime is just half-assed in general.
How about this though:
Fresh from the oven.

That is fucking hawt! I love how you can see through the visor a bit. I can't really see anything to complain about, though the waist looks a little thin, but I dont' know much about Metroid, so maybe that's normal.

I agree with Starnum, that is pure hawt.

There we go, that's the Femto art we know and love.
I like the Optimus Prime as well, but for some reason he looks like a plushie version of Prime almost (whatwith the all the curves used with his arm pieces) but I think for the most part it was colored really well

Thanks for the comments.
I definitely feel better about this piece compared to any coloring work that I've done before it.
Here's a couple progress-related things:
The first one is self-explanatory.
The second one is the visor file with the all the guide layers turned on.
I tried to make it look as "geometric" as possible so I decided not to do it by hand from the get-go and I was really anal about getting all the angles right.
Referenced from the Metroid Prime 2 US cover.
In fact, the whole visor idea is pretty much ripped off from that cover.
