It depends on if I remember my University ID when I go, or if I can convince the ticket person that I'm still in high school with the ID in my wallet from 4 years ago... Almost every theater by me has a student price which is usually like $7.00 or $7.50. Otherwise it's anywhere from $8-$10 for an Adult.

I just finished Fearless, Jet Li's latest and probably last martial arts movie. It is easily one of the best Jet Li movies of all-time, ranking right up there with Fist of Legend, which is fitting considering it is kind of a prequel to Fist of Legend. I am still kind of leaning towards Fist of Legend being better, guess I will have to watch both of them again. The fights in Fearless are simply stunning, I caught myself a few times with my jaw on the floor. Highly recommended for kung fu fans.

9.5/10

I thought Fearless was just another name for Danny The Dog.

I dont think any martial movie can touch Fist of Legend that is the most perfect martial art movie ever. The fights made me awestruck.

I must see this!!!

The only other name I've heard "Danny the Dog" referred to is "Unleashed", which is what it's called here in the states. I hate when they change the name. Like how Ippo is called "Fighting Spirit" over here, ghey.

Jetli big? Did you see "Cradle to the grave"? That movie sucked. I haven't seen many good movies of Jet li. I also don't like the computer graphics in his movies. I need the real stuff for exemple Bruce lee and the like

Jet Li is big as in famous, doesn't have to be good movies, just the fame aspect.

His earlier HK movies were way better. Hollywood just ruined him.

I got my hands on the DVD of fearless from my friend, I'll give you my thoughts on it later.

You should know that any movie with a rapper in it is a horrible movie. Its not Jet Li's fault. Jet Li is amazing, most of his asian stuff is good, I recommend Fist of Legend and Fearless, just stay away from the hollywood crap.

Just finished watching 'Fearless'. Goddamn, it's awesome. I have to go with what Gaiseric gave, 9.5. Sure, there's some loopholes here and there, but who gives a shit? It's like Fist of Legend, except he's playing the master, not the desciple. Note that the movie isn't 100% historically correct.

A very entertaining movie. Yuen Woo Ping is a genius. I love the man.

I heard Jet Li turned down a role in The Matrix because he said that he didn't want to be in a movie that big. He was going to play "Ghost" and Aaliyah was going to play ... who ever Jada Pinket played. This is what I heard anyway.

--- But as far as rappers and movies go

Someone said Crash I agree with that one. I thought hustle and flow was a pretty good movie. Above the rim, Boyz in the hood, Training day and a few others were cool.

When rappers try to act larger then life in a movie it always comes off as crude to me.

So Fearless is an asian movie? Any one know when it'll be coming to the states.

BTW, not all of his Hollywood ones are bad though, i.e. Unleashed and Kiss of the Dragon.

Rolling Stone gave it zero stars. Only other movie it did that to I believe was Dukes of Hazard. I've read many reviews calling it basically pornography as it is Sharon Stone's desperate attempt to cling to sex appeal. Instead, evidentally, she came off as a crazed lunatic actress that is starving for money. If I can find the link later/tomorrow I'll link to her rider for the shooting of BI2. It's one of the worst I've seen.

Well, a DVD version exists. No English audio (dur) but has Chinese and English subs over either Cantonese or Mandarin Chinese audio. IMDb reports the movie as Hong Kong/USA which makes me think the existing DVD is either R3 (Hong Kong) or R6 (China) and will eventually make the jump to the States.

Just got back from Anchorage again  watched a couple of movies, Ice Age 2 which had a different dynamic than the first one because no humans were envolved. Still pretty funny stuff.

And Scary Movie 4 which is PG-13!!!! I guess this is a second one the have made that is PG-13, but it was funny how you can tell they had to try really hard to keep all the graphic stuff out..... I was kind of high so it was a lot funnier that it really is so there is a tip for you

You know why they are good? Luc Besson aka the french master did them and they were done in europe and everything. The only hollywood about those movies are that money behind them nothing else, which is why they arent crappy like Romeo Must die...
