BasouKazuma is a dumbass, I wouldn't take him seriously if I were you.

Just a heads-up.
True true, but Femto is my neglected latino lover boy.

So that may help explain his behavior.

Edit: Well anyway, I already knew that you had said that they would be limiting themselves later on. Now, I was saying that even in the future of this generation there would be a very small percentage of games that would need to use high capacity discs. So it doesnt really matter. They're definitely not gonna be "severely limited" by using "old" media. Most games of the last generation only used half of the DVD's space and I'm sure this generation will be similar. Xbox 360 has Oblivion; which contains a vast, highly detailed world where every single conversation is voice acted and it's all on a DVD. So, why is there a need for higher storage capacity before the following gen?

I thought MS was smart for sticking with DVDs for games. There is no need to jump on the latest and greatest media right away. Hell, a lot of the PS2 launch games were CDs. Hell Gradius V is a CD game. Games do not take up that much space, the spoken Dialogue and Cinematics take up space. Final Fantasy 7 has the same game code on all 3 discs, only differences is the cinematics. I guess you can play a save on disc 3 on disc 1 and be fine untill a cinematic comes up.

I'm not sure if anyone is as excited as I am about this piece of news, but Super Robot Taisen on the GBA is getting released in America, meaning it'll be playable in English! I say yay to that!

Link to Gamespot preview.

Super Robot Wars Taisen review.

Come on, 8.3 is way too low for a game of this class. I blame the graphics. Keep in mind that this game was released in Japan like, 3 years ago or something.

Seriously, damn graphics whores. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy.

Speaking of graphics though, if you want to see the sweetest damn 2D graphics known to man, go peep some trailers of Super Robot Wars Alpha 3. *drool*

Orly? Then how about hearing the news that Sony has half as many PS3 in development that first predicted at E3 in May hmm? Then the more recent and devastating news for us unlucky (or in this case lucky for anyone not wanting one) gamers in Europe that the release date has been slashed from November 14th '06 and pushed back until March '07. If you think Sony has anything up their sleeves it's a list of things not done as promised.

And Assasin's Creed has been announced for 360 as well. I know that was a huge reason to get a PS3 for my friend.

Yeah, I think I collectively heard each PS3 Fanboy wince in pain when Ubisoft announced that.

I am Sony fanboy and i could careless about Assasins Creed coming to Xbox too.

Its not like it was the only reason to get PS3. I dont care how many consoles gets a game like Assasin Creed,as long i get to play it too.

There are many interesting games on thier way.

That is if Sony can realese them sometime this decade.

the cut in how many systems they will have on launch isn't that big since it has happened to any recent console as well. Kind of disapointing though, especially since I'm to lazy to drag my ass up the street to reserve a PS3.

I would seriously reconsider getting a PS3 right away. You heard about the sony batteries in dell laptops exploding and setting fires, right? And theres all the problems the first PS2s had. I am not saying dont get a PS3, I think you should just wait for them to work out all the kinks.

Waiting's not necessarily a bad idea, but if you do by a first gen. PS3, and it blows up, I'm sure you could send it in for free repairs. I love that their online service will be free. Just plug in your Internet cable and start web surfing right out of the box, woot! I can't wait to watch my pirated anime .avi files on my TV, without having to burn them to DVD format.

The PS3s bluedisk technology opens up the door for SquarEnix to do what they've wanted all along and make the ultimate Final Fantasy game. A sixteeen-hour CGI movie that let's you select the names of the characters, and eventually let's you tool around on a map screen filling your bestiary for another four hours.
