i wouldn't be too sure of that. byakuya has no emotions, hence that is why hes so strong. ichigo is stronger, but youve seen him flirt with death many times because he gets so excited when he sees an opportunity of victory (ex: the fight with kenpachi). that may have happened again when he thought there was an opening at aizen.

dunno, it dont really matter if he wins or loses, i jus wanna see byakuya's senkei again. damn that was hot

Yea, that move is pretty cool. But It couldn't even beat Ichigo. Aizen only needed his fingers to stop Ichigo even when he was in his Ban Kai mode. My guess is that Aizen will run flee when Yama comes.

Ichigo was beaten up pretty badly tho. Most likely even more than Byakuya. So he probably didnt have much energy to put in that attack. Besides, i wanna see wot the bankai of the other captains are(especially Soutaichou, since he seems the strongest).

I still think Ichigo's hollow persona must come to save the day. I mean, that's what Aizen was talking about, to overcome the limitations he wants to become a hollow, and Ichigo is already a hollow, as well as a shinigami.

I think noone will be able to beat Aizen, ichigo will have to do it himself.

I was considering that myself. Maybe Ichigo is the key, and he’s just going to have to open up and prove Kisuke’s theory correct. I mean, that would explain what Yoroichi was talking about. I think perhaps Grahf has touched on this as well.

Yeah that thanks for the reminder. But I remember Yoru saying at one point (about the hollow mask) that she would have to keep an eye on that. Then during the training she did say that Kisuke believes he could do something. Maybe .............

Kisuke himself needs to reveal a few things. You know one of those scenes where they flash to him thinking to himself.

it didnt seem like ban kai to me. we never saw zangetsu in original form cuz its always in released form (referring to the huge size form). zangetsu probably was in original form now, cuz if it was ban kai, ichigo wouldnt have needed a diversion to get to aizen, he couldve moved next to aizen in the blink of an eye

I think being half-dead from his fight with Rukia's brother may have played a part in it, too.

It sure looked like his Ban-kai, though, because there never was a normal form for that sword.

Yeah, he’s got to be weakened from all the fighting he’s done. However, correct me if I’m wrong here guys, but we believe that Ichigo didn’t use the full power of his Ban Kai against Byakuya. Maybe it’s just wishful thinking, but all he really did was move fast. If that’s the best he’s Ban Kai can do, then I’m a little disappointed.

sadly it seems like it. i mean even byakuya said so himself "that is too small to be a ban kai". however the only reason why it got so small is so ichigo moves a lot faster, hence a speed phantom. even when hollow-ichigo came out, all he did was do getsugas (which ichigo can already make by himself), and trapped byakuya by shyunpo-ing right behind him.

Even the speed I dont' really think was a part of his Ban Kai. I think it was more of a as byakuya said a concentration towards speed. Granted that he did transform somewhat I doubt that was he full Ban Kai. He was trained by the "God of flash" so its makes sense that he has some of her moves. Look at the training for Kisuke with that first move he did to counter byakuya's "chire". I think that was one of Kisukes moves as well. It seems to me that Ichigo is a combination (so far) of 2 powerful "ronin shin's".

Yea, I was a bit dissapointed too. I'm not saying that his sword doesn't look badass (which is does), but i was expecting him to pull some crazy shit when he released his Ban Kai. But maybe theres more that hasn't been shown yet. Althoght if that was true, it would have already been revealed instead of getting his ass beat by Aizen.

Possibly he underestimated Aizen, or doesn't know the full extent of his Ban Kai *shrugs*.
