here's some known fact (i'm not sure if they're little known)...
i was rereading the manga a while ago, and i noticed that the apostle that killed corkus was the same one that guts killed while boning her in volume 1. and that the count from volume 3 was at the camp where the band of the hawk was eaten and rickert was the only one to survive.
so what i'm trying to say is did guts enact revenge for the band of the hawk by killing the apostles that killed his friends? that's all i can think of how it relates to the story.

nah, I'd say Guts was on a random hunt, he didn't know who was there and who wasn't when the rest were killed outside the eclipse
It was simply by chance that he found them, or maybe becouse they were the apostles that lived near (your friendly neighbourhood apostles)

I think it was planned by miura to give the reader a revenge like feeling or something even if guts didn't knew what they did.

i dont know if anybody mentioned this... but in so far as guts' looks.. he was modeled slightly after rutger hauer in the movies flesh and blood... and salute of the jugger... again i dont know if anyone mentioned it... i wasn't about to sift through 22+ pages
