I like Grandpa but he might die soon.

I wonder how Kurano could see the alian's moves unlike the others. Is it his will to survive or that he has developed his eyes cause he has been doing missions for GANTZ a while now.

I read it because it's a good waste of time. I've clocked finishing a chapter in 15 seconds flat. But then again, I do read a lot of trashy mangas to waste my time, doesn't exactly make this one special.

GANTZ is good shit,it isnt very complacated but its good.

Right now there is only action but when Kurano first met Tae,when he got abused in school and stuff,it was very very good.

gantz is great in spotlighting many different lives of people, and we can see many of the things in gantz inspired by modern society, thats what i like about it, it is contemporary, i dont think its a trashy manga at all .

ha! yeah.. just dl-ed chapter 1-187, some chapters I went through within 5-15 seconds. Cool shit, but it's still shit.

I like the fact that people die in it.. I was beginning to hate bleach/naruto/hxh for having the same main chars for so long.

I'd seriously like to see half of bleach and 80% of naruto wiped out.

So yeah, I like gantz for what it is; cool shit.. but..

Ok, the following correspondence is just my opinion, and in no way should be used as some kind of an excuse to start arguing about whether the manga is shit or not, so you've been warned.

I think the manga is cool because it is vehemenently violent, well drawn, and characters die as they should and they react semi-realistically to the problems at hand, and it has naked bitches.. not enough for my tastes, and they're almost all drawn exactly the same, but it's good. Also the fresh way that everyone keeps dying is great.. I truly hope the main char will also die and someone else will become the focus, screw the main-guy-never-dies crap!

I think the manga is shit because the foundation it is built upon is total crap.. a futuristic ball is teleporting normal people who've almost died to a room, and these people have no idea what they're up against. Why use innocent people? why not use fully informed specialists for this if there really is a danger from aliens invading earth? There's no logic behind it, or any of it.. it's just whimsical crap floating in the writers brain which gets wiped onto the paper.

So the manga has failed on a core-matter of suspension of disbelief.. just because he wants to keep a 'real' world ongoing as well as explain aliens and vampires existing in the world, and how normal people are fighting them.. doesn't mean he actually succeeds in doing so..

I could probably have said it better.. but basically, gaping plot hole problem in the most vulnerable spot.. the foundation of the whole thing, which makes the whole story very shaky.

But the realistic characters, realistic deaths, a nice drawing style, and hot naked bitches.. upgrades it from shit to cool shit.

So yes.. something which stinks (and stinks bad) can be cool in it's own special way.

Actually I like the fact thats unbelievable, it could still be believable if the author wanted to, we know almost nothing about GANTZ and its world.

About core of the manga,we cant say much about it since we dont know the story of the manga yet cause he havent really told us anything important.
