i heard Moore distanced himself from this movie, very far from it.

BUT I HOPE ITS GOOD!
Moore distanced himself from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and we all know how that went :? . Don't get me wrong, I want it to be good just as much as everybody else, but when the original writer of a story is adamently opposed to a remake/movie/interpertation, something is usually wrong.

I've been privy to some interesting reviews of the film. I'll sum them up for you: If you pay to see this movie and don't walk away totally disgusted, then the terrorists have won.

I've read mix reviews about V, mostly because of the inexperience from the new Australian director.

i dont know if i should go see this. I mean, i enjoyed hugo weaving in the matrix (the first, i didnt care for the other two performances but that was likely influenced by the movies) and i love alan moore's work (i havent read v for vendetta but the killing joke was godly) eventhough he thinks that it is shit . I'll probably see it, so to alieviate any pain that i have, ill see if i can go 2 for 1

the general plot of a killer videogame makes "stay alive" look dumb, but looking at it as jus a horror movie it looks pretty sick. but im not sure, i dont mess with those kind of movies

V for Vendetta was really awesome. I think it's my favorite comicbook adaptation after x-men. It's inspired me to read the comic. Also, the author didnt want the movie to be made mainly cuz DC comics cheated him out of something.

Also, it's pretty ignorant that reviews (someone mentioned above) say that if you dont walk away from the movie disgusted the terrorists have won. Besides, how do you distinguish terrorists from freedom fighters (colonial times during american revolutionary war). Also, i'm hearing people say that this movie reflects our current times dealing with bush and stuff. Ridiculous.

It looks like it will be crappy and the gore won't advance much farther then red paint on a tub.

Munich is worth seeing if you can stand the fact that spielberg kind of stands on the fence on who is right in the matter.

the plot does go somewhere because you see just how the characters change with each assassination that they successfully, or unsuccessfully, get through. The characters being to question and it is there where the better parts of the movie lie, ie when everything goes wrong
