What is Griffith's next move? He has the Princess now all he need is to run Kushans out of Midland. So why is he going to battle at the port city? Is it just the place where the Kushans are going to attack and Griffith is going to show his strength to the nobles of Midland by saving them? This is probably what is going to happen. But before the end I think Griffith will kill them all and plunge the world into eternal darkness.

Thank you sir, may I have another

He wants to become a King after all.
And I think the most of the nobles will be at the ball.
He wants them to aknowledge him and to become his underlings. So I don't think he'll kill them all.

Well yes it is but I bet it will get a whole darker when griffith becomes know as the dark hawk. I know because it has been prophesied. Lastly no he wont come but he might sit and watch on a hill some where.arresty wrote:The world is already in the equivalent of the dark ages. Well, Idea tells Griffith that he can do whatever he wants now that he is a Godhand, and because he was a human. This is because Idea is merely the incarnation of human inclination; Idea doesn't actually control or predict outcomes. Idea is always right because Idea IS human inclination. So if people do it, then it becomes part of Idea's plan (this is how I see it anyway). That is why Idea is mostly evil right now, because people themselves are full of hatred and whatnot from warring.
So what is Griffith going to do next? Achieve his dream of course! And he probably will achieve it mostly the way he would have if he were still human (by creating a Band of the Hawk, winning favour, charming the Princess, then eventually marrying her and gaining his Kingdom, most of which we already have seen him doing). I don't think Griffith will become a tyrant and plunge his country into turmoil, because if he wanted that in the first place, he wouldn't bother building a reputation and shit, he'd just go and pillage the entirety of Midland right off the bat. He still has his childhood dream of a peaceful kingdom. Actually the only thing that has actually changed about Griffith since the time he appears in the manga is that he is now ridiculously powerful instead of moderately powerful.

I usually dont like to get into threads like this that much, but Guts could be considered the "black hawk." If Griffith (the white hawk) did set up a kingdom and it was working fine, then someone comes and destroys it (Guts- the black hawk) it would appear the same way as it is prophesised. If the people didn't know what was going on behind the scenes (that griffith is really a fucking bastard) then they would think there kingdom was righteous. Example: see America. So if guts destroys the kingdom it makes him look like the badguy.Sandman wrote:Well yes it is but I bet it will get a whole darker when griffith becomes know as the dark hawk. The proohecy is that the White hawk and the black hawk are the same
For those of you who dont know the prophecy here it is as Schieke says it "The king of the blind white sheep is the master of the black sheep with a burden of sins, he is the one who shall bring true darkness to the world."

What do you think would Griffith do, after he got his Kingdom?
His dream would be fullfilled and I don't think he's the type of guy who just settles down without a dream. Maybe he will end up like Sasuke will in Naruto after he killed Itachi. With nothing more to live for.

I think he meant after he does, as in he will eventually. Though i think it woudl be an interesting outcome if Naruto kills Itachi and then Sasuke has no purpose and didnt get to fulfill his goal..but i doubt that would happen. as for Griffith's plan, I see him sort of like a George Washington gone all wrong. or like any other general who liberates their country and turns all Jeckyl and Hyde on their asses. After he is finished becoming king, he will become tyranical and secretly evil...or history may not repeat itself.
as for the Washington reference, after they defeated the British and were designing their government, they offered to make Washington king or leader for life, but he turned down the offer.

Itd be pretty haneous if the last page of the manga was like gutts walking up seeing casca getting raped by griffith and he realises that everything he just witnessed was a dream. I think somone made a fan fic or theory bout this.
