yeah, i want to see V for vendetta as well. oh, and i just finished The Professional. ( with Natalie Portman, Jean Reno and Gary Oldman.) i had seen the first half a while ago and i finally got to see the rest. i actually liked it, so i'd give it 8/10 or so.

I think Battle Angel Alita is coming out as a high CG, live action, American Movie in a few years.

I'm hoping this wont break my heart with horrible actors and stuff. Alita deserves more than james cameron. sigh

Have seen "A history of violence" and that movie was pretty entertaining, except that it moved a little to fast towards the end.
Was almost like you where watching Millennium.
For 30 minutes noone has a clue as to what is happening but then all of a sudden something gives, and mystery is solved.
Well now when I think of it, it´s not like Milennium at all.

But any how, I also saw "Serinity" and that was also an ok movie.

Hollywood should just leave their hands off Asian Cinema period, I mean it will just turn out horrible or JUST decent.

I havent seen a decent one yet.......

Alite the CGI animation movie i wanna see. I dont care about the Cameron one. Even though he is a sci-fi action genius,he like other american movie makers have no understanding for asian cinema, manga, anime. They will reduce everything to just action. Even the ring they made it worse.

The japanese version gave me nightmares while the hollywood one was like Jason vs Freddy you were smiling at how bad they try to scare with cheap tricks.

Jason Vs Freddy was supposed to be a scary movie? I thought it was sell as some kind of satyric comedy or something, like the snake biting its own tail. It was bad nonetheless. I have yet to see a scary movie since Alien... :(

Jason vs Freddy was an AWESOME movie.

now scary movie... i guess you didnt hop on The Ring bandwagon, there is that one movie coming out, The Hills Have Eyes. Though that movie is a remake of wes craven's movie.

eh, scary movies have never been to scare you, there were to entertain you and your date to the point where you should get some action that night. And if you dont get any action at least you saw some titties in the scary movie, cuz you know scary movie= some sort of boob footage.

When I was like 5-7 years old I watched the first Chuckie movie (Child´s play?) and I couldn´t sleep for a month. And everytime I even saw the Chuckie doll on the Tv it all came back to me.
I also saw one scary movie one time but I can´t remember the name of it. I think I was 10 at the time.
A guy was walking along a road in the desert and slips and get stuck in a small small sewer hole with his leg.
And from ther all hell breaks loose.

God, I wanna see that one again :D

Childs Play ruined my childhood. I had nightmares till my adolescent days.

Childs Play was lame. Alien was good. The first Halloween was good. Other than that, the only movie that has scared me was Audition. Not so much scared, as horrified.

I was scared of Candyman, mainly because he was Black.

Ah I forgot Friday the 13th and Halloween (1st one of course), Jason was at his best, he was young, muscular and as bastardish as it gets!
Seriously the trailer for Ultraviolet killed it for me. Looks like a mindless movie to me, and when I see the review above well it seems I'm right. I used to do that, going to see a theater to see pretty pictures, but at the end it's like peeking at the raws of the mangas, you get your fix but are terribly frustrated.
Going to rent Saw 2 though, hopefully the authors did come up with some wicked ideas like in the 1st one.

That's not possible for me at least. I have too low of expectations for that movie to ever be dissapointed. But I won't watch it either ;).

Damn straight, that and he just clearly took off heads while you put on your makeup. Who could ever do such horrible things!

I saw the dave chapelle movie music thing: I give it a 7/10 mainly because it was less jokes and more music.

Hopefully it will turn out better than the other xmen movies or at least as good, because I would like to see more for the franchise.

Heh, it kind of freaked me out too, but I was fairly young when the first movie came out. Now it's like, "whatever." *punt*
