Played the demo of Overlord and I really must have this game now, hehe.

Also saw a video from Dark messiah, does anyone know if the game world is as big as it seems?

I bought Overlord, and when I got my red minions I thought my quest was finished so took the portal to my tower, and well as it seems I needed to walk through an area with a firewall in the way with them.
Sadly enough I couldnt summon any more fire minions once I teleported back, and the funny (No, not really) thing is that there dont seem to be any way at all to be able to do so....
I think I have to restart the game, damn it

The Halo 3 ARG is in full swing, but seems more intent on actual promotion of the game rather than creating a full-scale alternate-reality game. I don't see myself even attempting to participate in this (lol effort), but I will most definitely be checking up on the progress of the game. It's reminded me why I give a fuck about Bungie's space epics. There's something in the Asimovian depiction of AIs not simply as tools but potential destroyers or saviors on a biblical scale that appeals to me.

I was playing Tenchu Z before my Xbox "shit the bed" From what I played it is a pretty cool game, although there are still those little bugs that make you go "Damn it!!!!!!!" and some small things that I would change... like steath kills from above are very risky because you have to jump down on your oppenent and hit x at the right time but all in all a fun cool game... still havent got my Shadowrun in yet... I DLed the demo and it was pretty interesting all the shit they put into a first person shooter cant wait to get my 360 up an going again so I could play

oh sweet, the Swedish distributor of The Darkness f-ed up and as it seems its only here that the game is delayed until the 13/7, which means I have to wait a while longer, damn it...
The irony of it all is that the damn game developers is from this godforsaken country

The Halo 3 trailer- I dunno. The live-action bit was awesome, but the gameplay itself brought back some bad memories of Halo 2. Hopefully the game will actually be fun this time around, but I'd much rather have seen something akin to Halo 1 rather than 2.

Yeah the Halo 3 trailer was so underwelming like Halo 2. Thank God Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, and Resident evil 5 was there.

Halo 3.

Mother-fucking Halo 3 broke me in the end.

I finally caved and bought a 360 just a few hours ago. It's now set up right next to my computer- switching cables around is a bit of a hassle, but it's well worth it considering my monitor is as close to HD I'll get (1280x1024 is, after all, 720p and a bit). Just played some Dead Rising, and the sound is surprisingly decent even piped through the line-in jack and then out again- if I use my headset. My computer speakers sound like static'y crap for some reason.

Halo 3 looks surprisingly good. I played the beta a couple of months ago and wasn't impressed at all. But from the footage from TGS I'm really impressed. 360 has some good games right now. IF they ever sort out their hardware problems they would do alot better.

Thank god I had a 2 year warranty from bestbuy.

I'm hoping to recover my old gamertag from the original Xbox tomorrow, when I will actually get my disused Xbox back (I haven't touched it since I beat Halo 2, mostly it's been lent out to friends).

Since I recently got paid I'm contemplating getting a 360 for Halo 3, but I'm pretty scared of the red ring of death. It gets referenced a lot, but I am not sure if the whole situation with that is blown out of proportion. What are all your experiences with the red ring? Would like getting an intercooler along with a 360 solve the situation?

I had gotten it 2 weeks ago actually. But I had a 2 year warranty with Bestbuy so no skin off my back. Plus MS extended their warranty to 3 years.
