Isn't the seal on the armor to prevent Guts“s ego from "crumbling"?

Let's not go overboard here
Well i said he MIGHT ;)

Also Zodd is becoming easier for Guts every time they fight,so someday he will slice and dice Zodd.

the seal is covering the brand and prevents the usual night haunt

There's a seal inscribed on the armour that preserves his ego from crumbling and there's also one on his brand to reduce the chance of attracting spirits.

Perhaps, but for now Guts can't ever chip Zod's horn(just know some gay jokes are coming  ). Also did anyone pick up on the way Skullknight's Armour/Body grows back? Like when he broke a piece off, to throw at Slan and save Guts or in the Demon Army attacked at Flora's house and SkullKnight's shield had massive claw mark from Zod in it.(this just came to mind when talking about Zod's fights :) )

Your talking about the armour growing into Guts when he was badly injured?

Zodd is apprently very old and he has been fighting for the God Hands a while. I would love to see a flashback with his fight against Skullkngiht, i wanna see how good the knight really is.

is it just me or is skull kinght always fighting zodd on his horse? i think SK should duel zodd one on one with no horse

He is trained to fight from a horse. his horse is as much of his persona as he is...otherwise why would he have a flying skeletal horse

No, when SkullKnight got involved in the Guts/Slan thing in the cave he broke a bit off himself and throw it into Slan's wing.

obviously he uses the horse to fly...i'm saying if he fought zodd off of his horse, does that depreciate sk's power?

Well it all depends on if the horse is a part of him? Guts is a horse man too, but he fights best on the ground? then again if Guts had a horse as powerfull as SkullKnight's would he use it?

yes it would because he was probably trained to fight with his horse. and i dont think i've ever seen him off his horse except maybe when he was treating guts and casca after he rescued them

temptest: Ok thats a lil bit flawed...

it should go a lil something like this..

Silat: lost once from not knowing his opponent. lost again because he severly underestimated him.

Serpico: Had spent prolonged times with guts and was able to figure out weakness's and strat's against him. Still got pwned. Gutts didnt beat him faster because he didnt want to kill him.

serpico = pippin<Silat<Gutts

okay, pippin was big strong and a good fighter...but thats it. the only thing he has over serpico is his ability to take a hit, but i bet serpico could easily strike disabling blows to him. he can dodge an attack by Guts for christ sake

funny mentioning the horse thing

I recently convinved myself to watch Fist of the North Star
the ending was somewhat ridiculous, and the big bad guy didn't really want to unmount his horse

the reason is probably the felling of safety, looking bigger, having the upper hand in some aspect
AND, the opponent will probably want to knock him off his horse or kill the horse first (which may also oack a kick)

FOTNS is the most ridiculous movie I've ever seen.

Well, not quite, but it was pretty miserable.

And well, skull knight without a horse would be like.. uh.. guts without the dragon slayer. Not quite, but something like that.

Skull Knight likes those swift attacks, and badass horse really comes handy...besides, who else has a horse now, and who deserves it more then "TAH KNIGHT"

and yes, FOTNS was miserable except a few scenes...
("hey, do these belong to you?")

A Skullknight without a horse is like Puck without wings...

Hay, no knocking Hokuto no Ken. It's not a good movie, but the series that spawned it is an influential inspirational source for many mangakas today, including One Piece's Oda and b3rzurk's Miura.

Serpico only fought Guts once having known his strategies. The time he had fought him on the mountain side, his strategy was only based on what he saw at first, and he held out for a good long time. Silat had time to strategize after getting whooped the first time, but chose not to because he was too cocky or too dumb to realize his normal way of fighting wouldn't work.

We never saw Skullknight without his horse. Maybe they are fused together. Or the is just true loyal companions. :)

It would just seem dumb for them to be fused :?. but the horse is important and enough of him to have changed along with him :?. If you ask me I bet Idea probably asked him what he needed to do his job and he got himself a horse. This leads me to a brief question. during the lost chapter, Idea let griffith choose what he needed to do what he needed to do...does that mean all those freaky ass apostles CHOSE to look like they do ?

I bet you that Skullknight got crippled in the war. That's why he doesn't get off the horse. Like how Charles Xaviar doesn't get off his damn wheelchair.

hahahaha its a little harder to stay put on a horse than a wheel chair...especially if the guy in the wheel chair is a psychic

He has goten off his horse when he was chasing after the Egg apostle and caught that whore mind flight.
