Well when I read "Beck" I really started to feel the urge to pick up a guitar.. However when the anime came out I started to feel it even more when I heard the song´s they used as "Beck´s" own.
So all in all like most have written here is that what make´s a good story is character evolvment and and interesting story, ohh and it doesn´t hurt if the manga/anime is nicely drawn.
What are the aspects of a good Story

Or in a book if its written in a good way. For example The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, its written i very special way.
About Beck i like the manga alot but i couldnt keep watching the anime cause the music sucks its not rock its shit. Compared to the music in my fantasy when i read the manga,it even worse than shit.

Nah...Libaax wrote:The old Guts would slice Casca in two cause she slows him down and go after his vengence.
he simply left her behind and went on a killing spree...now he fights his way toward Elfhelm to help her and slices up everything in his path.
Spawn is one of my fav. characters. He is somewhat similar to Guts too

I meant the Guts who whe saw in the first vol who didnt care about anyone not after he found Casca again cause by that time his cold heart has start to melt thanks the people he met before he found Casca again.
Spawn is very similer to Guts specaily now that Guts has the Berserker armour who makes him look like a demon when he fights.

Who know maybe his hate for Griffith was bigger than his love for Casca in the begining otherwise he would look for her first not go after apostles and his vengence.
Okay i know that Guts would never kill Casca even when he was coldheared man but he wouldnt care about her as much he does now.

Well Libaax, I have to say that the music they play in the anime of Beck isn't Rock.. More like well softer commercial bands like Coldplay mixed with Papa Roach on Japanese..
Still I liked Moon on water, i´ve been looking around for the manga actually, but never found it. Hope to do so in the future since I´ve heard that where the anime ends, the whole story off the manga takes off (Just like with Berserk you might say).

I'm lost. When you say the first volume, you mean when he kills that snake apostle. Right?Libaax wrote:Who know maybe his hate for Griffith was bigger than his love for Casca in the begining otherwise he would look for her first not go after apostles and his vengence.

If that is the case, didn't he leave Casca in Rickeret and company's care?
It's not that he didn't care for her after the eclipse, he just simply couldn't put up with looking at her.

Good point. He didn't knew how to handle it all and his emotions.Artezul wrote:It's not that he didn't care for her after the eclipse, he just simply couldn't put up with looking at her.
