Do you think those guys are friends? As in "we hang around and we like each other" friends? No way man. A friend of mine told me that me met Gabe and Tycho at WoW (pretty awesome, right?) and he's been telling me the stories between these guys, and let me tell you, both of them are assholes. The last two PA strips has been pretty shit. I didn't find either one funny at all.

My friend and I debated that, and c'mon, out of all the people you could pretend to be, why the hell would you pretend to be Gabe or Tycho. It was Gabe AND Tycho too, not just one of them. The stories he was telling me were very convincing too, stuff that makes a lot of sense. As I said, take it with a grain of salt, in other words, believe what you want. I dunno about that story your friend told you. Why pose as Gabe and Tycho you ask? Why do people pose as anyone at all? To be stupid, or to get free shit or better themselves some other way. I could think of plenty of people that would pose as Gabe and/or Tycho. When I used to play Tribes, guys would pose as people in my clan mainly because we pretty much made the mod they played on, and they wanted to ask one of us playing for admin codes and whatnot (i.e. - "Hey Tempest, I lost my admin code, what is it again?" Then I say "STFU n00b!" and ban them. We have a protocol for this kind of thing in our clan, no one asks the question in game). I'm sure people woudn't mind being like "Hey, you are the PA guys, here's some free stuff!" or something like that.
I know they PLAYED WoW, but they both stopped I think after the server issues. I would accept them as being the real deal as fast as I would accept that hot blond in the singles chatroom as being who she says she is and not some 40 year old trucker named Larry. But that's just me.
