Hey now, don't be making fun of the south just because we burn our heretics down here. We have a long and honorable tradition of fighting for the good lord. All these here pagans with there devil worship which they hide behind there so called role-playing games will most assuredly go to hell.

Won't be nothing but fire and brimstone for these sinners. Just remember if it feels good or is fun it is a sin and the devils work. Now I must go and indoctrinate another generation of youngins with fear and hatred.

God, all this talk of D&D makes me think of Stephen Lynch's "Dungeons and Dragons" song:

"It's D&D! Fightin' with the legends of yore! It's D&D! Never kissed a lady before! Nope. Whooo!"

I don't think you should go any further...

I mean, Starnum can move this thread to the Interstice if he wants to...

Just a heads up, the objective of the Interstice is not to take whole legitimate topics/thread and move them there. If necessary just create a new topic/thread from the existing thread's "choice" posts and then move the new topic/thread to the Interstice.

Remember, you don't have to keep pushing. An apology would work as well, and prevent crazy stuff from happening.

I might still plan on making the D&D omake. Problem is, I have too little material/inspiriation/humour at the moment. I need to write some shit for the dialogue...

Well, whatever. However, I’ll have you know, I can have sex just about anytime I want it, and that makes me pretty damn happy. When did this go from not getting any action b/c we role players are supposedly nerdy, to not being happy? Besides that, what about a loving wife and a beautiful daughter wouldn't make a guy happy? I'm just making a point, that stereotyping is stupid and for close-minded people. ;)

Nah, I'm not going to move this thread. I just hate it when people stereotype role players as nerds. Let me tell you, anyone who feels that way, I'll show them my nerdy sword skills, and then they can make fun of me on their way to the hospital. ;)

Look, I didn't mind playing it, but the way it was played is what bothered me. Two of the guys we played with argued for like 2 hours about whether or not a whirlwind attack would hit a person in range if they are hidden and unseen (It does IMO, but whatever). God, I wanted to strangle them. And my other friend liked to Role-play as a half-orc and everything we came upon he would ask "Can I eat it?". So anyway, only one of my old fellow-players still would want to (he's the guy who IMed me) and two people D&D is not that fun. And we don't want to go down to the local Gaming place because the people who play there scare me... a lot. I would like to get into a Warhammer type game, like regular Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000 or my personal favorite, Mordheim. We do know one guy and his brother who play them, but nothing ever happens. Meh. Also, we were into it, but it was costing a lot of money, however this WAS before we had jobs. :?

Warhammer 40,000 WILL suck up all your money and time. It will be your bane. Sure it's a fun enough game, but unless a lot of people play at your local store or something I would stay away.

Well, I can understand that. Sometimes the players can make the game less fun than it should be. You’ve just got to get a good flow going, or something, heh.
