Knicks will get destroyed by Spurs even without Duncan.

I saw Detriot vs Spurs when Duncan got injurid and the bench players scored 50+ points ;)

I aslo like Ray Allen and he is very underrated so is Byron Davis. To bad he plays for Warriors who will miss the playoff.

I was never really into basketball until coming to UIUC, with a team like the fighting Illini this year its hard not to be interested. other than NCAA never really watch much basketball. maybe if i paid more attention to the Bulls while i was growing up i would be more privileged

i dont even think the spurs have hit there potential yet. Parker is still a young player, and i think ginobli will get better. the bench is pretty young too.

Nah Miami or Detriot will win this year, Miami cause of Shaq and his new partner in crime Wade or Detriot with the monster Wallace and the best pointguard in NBA...... C.Billups(sp?)

Detriot will win cause Duncan isnt himself right now and they have a weakness in my namesake Mohammed ;)

I love Detriot for thier style and Big Ben so i'm gonna root for them all the way.

Some stupid swedish mag called this finals a the boring final. They dont know shit about basketball when they say that Spurs,Pistons dont have superstart with the living legend Duncan,Ben Wallace,Billups,Hamilton,Parker,Genobli etc.

They wanted a final beteween Miam and Suns which would be a boring final cause they cant defend, basketball without fighting under the basket isnt basketball....

well new age basketball is all about High scoring. Its what the fans of today want to see.

Yeah but apprently not all of them cause when i went to download site i got the games from many people love the team work Spurs,Pistons have. So not everyone loves high scoring. I love high scoring when there is also good defence ,like when The Pistons outplayed the Heat in both offence and defence.

Well High Scoring brings in the ratings. For pure basketball fans we will love this finals. But as far as ratings wise. ..... The Pistons really are one dimensional, where as the Spurs prooved last series that they pack an offense as well.

The Patriots of Basketball. How about that Ginobili?? wow.

That bastard destroyed my team :(

Only the bad bench offensivly kills the pistons a game like this cause Macdyss,Oroyo couldnt help the starting five at all. While the spurs rested their five more cause of Horry,Barry,Glen Robinson etc.

Horry can be the x-factor with his great defense and 3 points from the bench. I mean having the 2an greathes 3p shooter in playoff history helps you win games.

Well I remember people were over rating the Pistons bench a couple of days ago. Thats what they get. The pistons play suspect like I expected though I expected more out of Prince. No one could guard him because of his arms. Well no on that plays the same position.

Prince will have to play at his normal standard cause he has so easy getting to the basked cause he is guarded by Genobil who is much smaller.

The game last night he got so easy to basket but he missed easy basket all the time when the Pistons led the game. Eventually that hurt his team in the fourth quarter.

I still think they will win the second game. With same defence efffort as last night plus one more Piston player having a good game offensivlyone of Hamilton, Prince,R.Wallace they will win.

Heh, I missed the game last night, so who won? Spurs?

Right I'm sure they will. *sarcasm*

Duncan had a quiet 25 and 17. lol All I have to say is wait till Duncan has that 30 and 20 game. :P

Nice Ashram sig btw.

Duncan can have 40 and 20 game if they keep the other players like Genobili and Parker quit, they will still win.

I'm looking so much forward to the next game.this is a great series.

thats the whole thing they won't let Duncan get 40 and 20. I won't work because assuming that happens the big men will get into foul trouble. Once the middle is open Parker and Ginobili will drive like no tomorrow. As you saw last night Duncan had a big first half where the piston big men had their hands full with him. Then the gaurds did a good job watching Parker and Ginobili for 3 quarters but after that they couldn't keep up.

Also it really had nothing to do with their defense. They did a great job on defense their offense was suspect. Exactly as I said earlier they are too one dimensional where as the Spurs can play both ways of the floor.

Though I'm sure Pistons will come back with some fire in the second game but will it be enough?

Yeah their offense is the problem their defense is even better than the spurs.

Genobili only got the chance to drive and score when in the last 3,4 mins when Brown benched Wallace,Wallace and went small. If Brown doesn't have to gamble in last mins like he did in game 1 there wont be room for Parker,Genobili to drive to.

Hopefully the two day break will give the Pistons chance to recover mentally and physically
