Hero was terrible when I watched it. I don't know what the fuss is about it....

I really liked hero. Different than most jet li movies though. More artistic like crouching tiger or something, but still awsome. It was no Kiss of the Dragon.

Yeah Kiss of the death was awsome i liked when he beat all the policemen that was training.

Yes it was. One of his best. But I am a big fan of Jet Li. Out of all the mainstream martial artists today he is definately my favorite. That role was one of his better too. He just kicked ass. Its funny cause he actually told parents not to take there kids to see this movie. Nice guy I guess. I mean it was pretty violent.

Im also Jet Li fan i would like he did more movies like KOTD instead lame movies like Romeo Must Die and Cradle 2 The Grave.

There should be only him and him kicking som ass no hip hop artist making his movies bad.

Those weren't bad but he definately has better stuff. He did kick ass in Lethal Weapon 4. But alot of his HK movies are good. Like Once Upon a Time in China, and The Shaolin Temple were good.

On another note but still dealing with HK, is John Woo before he came over to the states did some of the best action movies around. His gun fights are just amazing. He has gone downhill alot since coming statsside though. Though Face Off was good, among others. Just his stuff in HK was great. Especially his work with Chow Yun-Fat. A Better Tomorrow, Hard Boiled, the Killer. All great movies. Especially The Killer.

Yeah, they need to stay in there own countries. Hell most great martial art films today, atleast to me, are still imports. Alot of them are people who are big now going back to HK or wherever and making the film.

Most of my favorite martial arts fights are from Fist of Legend. The first fight scene Jet Li doesn't want to hurt anyone so he just dislocates joints like shoulders, ankles, fingers, and he even dislocates one guy's jaw. The best is the final fight though where he takes on a Japanses general with a sword and Jet Li only uses his belt.

Yeah, that was indeed a good fight.

Probably The Killer. Its probably John Woo's best film and one of Chow Yun Fats. I would highly recommend it to any Woo or action fan. Well for the most part all the ones I listed I would recommend to anyone, but I think The Killer is probably the best, now I might watch that tonight. Hmmm.

Are the killer and the rest of the films you recomended dubbed?

I hate when they are...

If you get them on DVD you get the choice, which is nice, but I think they are generally subtitled cause dubbing sucks. Most quality movies are subtitled these days, but then these are older. But I know when I got them they were subbed.
