No clue, I'm in the Singapore beta(all in english duh). I know the North American version is supposed to release this summer. Free to play but you can buy extra things with real money like in Gunz, ZerA, etc. Genius.

New Wallpaper.
By the way, could a mod change the title of this thread to Desktop thread? So we just have one thread like we do for Sigs and Avas and shit? I should probably PM a mod about it eh...

It can be very themable. I choose not to do it. I like things the way they are.
And thanks arke.

i'm aware of the windows blinds and aston shell type things, but dont those eat up more processor cycles? or do they just extend the compositing features already inherent in the window manager with minimal eat ups? or replace it entirely?.. asctually scratch that.. that's googleable... i gotta say the wallpapers you guys get are pretty slick..i might have to go where you all go instead of just having random themes based around wallpapers i'vehad for years

There are quite a few programs out there to customize windows. I just don't care for them. As long as my wall paper is sick I am good. And I get my walls all over the net. Not really one place.

My brothers window set up looks like the Mac OSX set up. So theres that little bar on the bottom. And instead of all the desktop icons he has a couple of widgets.

Why is your desktop set up so large vertically?

To play games. Shooters to be exact. Lately Armed Police Batrider. My LCD screen flips real easy, so I can have it either way with out too much hassle actually.
EDIT - New Wallpaper

Only way to play vert shooters. Yoko is just terrible.
EDIT - I had to switch my monitor back to Yoko unfortunately.

I can easily play shooters TATE with my monitor any time, it just loses so much cool effect.

Finally, some nice Beryl screenshots.
I was under the impression that Beryl and Compiz merged branches into Compiz-Fusion.
I'm a Debian guy myself.
