I believe he/she is that stupid, all you have to do is look at the evidence of 'illegal' content games.

While the shemale folder is embarrassing, it isn't illegal. However, there are plenty of other 'illegal' content seen on the desktop alone.

There are cracks (which obviously is a DMCA violation), there is a cd-rom emulator application running in the task tray who's only sole purpose is take an ISO (from CD or DVD) and mount it like a physical drive. That in of itself is ok, it has legit uses, but look at the other files around it. Burning software, games, cracks for said games.

If you had the legit game, you wouldn't need the cracks in the first place.

Just look at the image, the circumstantial evidence is amazing. The person in question is obviously a 'l33t w4r3z DUD3' who lacks common sense to censor their SS.

Yes, there really are people that dumb in the world. I hope he/she learns a lesson from this.

I, of course, would never post a screenshot of my desktop. Not only is there too much incriminating evidence on my desktop (IE porn videos I haven't filed yet.) There's always the sticky situation of the random stills I use as my background itself. Why settle for saturn eclipsing the sun when you can go out and find some furry porn or a woman with a fish in her cooter or, heaven forbid, a man's penis tatooed to look like an elephant's trunk.

Exactly what psi said. He had other stuff like cracks he just blatantly placed on the desktop. And as I mentioned, the filename is VERY specific. You don't go around putting Berserk chapters in a random yet specific filename like 'shemale vids'. You don't put assignments or lecture notes in a folder called 'shemale vids' either. It's not a logical defence to say 'I just put in a random name for a folder and called it Shemale vids, and in it contains my formulas for curing cancer'.

I've read some of the posts on there and apparently he along with a few other guys on the site were saying that it was all a prank to get internet fame like they have. I don't know if I buy that, especially since they managed to get his myspace account, pictures of this guy and I think they know his real name. All I know is that you would never get me to implicate myself as watching she-male porn for some prank.

It is amazing how quickly things like this lose momentum. It's been only two days or so, and no one cares any more.
Big irony is that although the internet caused this guy's downfall, it is now the only place where he can ever do anything without being ridiculed, because all he needs to do is to change his nick. Since they have found his picture, he is pretty much done in real life.

edit: although, number of views is still incerasing pretty fast. It's number of posts that died.
