I wish I had that kind of freetime. I have been trying to reread berserk for three days now, and I am still on teh first volume.

School sucks.

School sucks specially right now .

We have our archeology field class right now . Which means we dig 8.00-16.00 for three weeks now

Forget about reading mangas,watching animes etc.

i just got out of school fuckas! ahahaha! finals suck ass, but im dooone!!

and so yeah, that list made my day. Walter made it, therefore i think we should put him in the "You know u read too much berserk when you..." thread. he deserves it.

however, anyone could say he is wrong. it is true that nobody else would have that much time to count each thing guts has killed. so nobody can doubt him. for all we know he could have just guessed by skimming. but it isnt really probable that he would... just saying. go Walter! keep on berserkin'

Although it could be all made up, when you look at the amount of detail that he provides for each kill, and consider that the order for what he's killing is about right, it seems probable that he actually did count it all out. Which means that he is, of course, way, way, way too obsessed with Berserk.

He must be 22... And he started at 9, like some african child of our today world.


And his figure are already more than 1000 death shown...

Well, all what you would have to do is to read the whole thing once and put every kill in the database. I would not call that so unhealthy obsession.

1000s......I thought guts was more inhuman that that , he softened up too much when he got his new groupies.

1000s that we've seen and know about. When you consider that Guts kills spirits all night, and had killed more Apostles then we know about (even in the beginning they mention that he has been going around killing Apostles, so there must be ones we haven't seen) plus the fact that there are all those years (and battles) he fought as a mercenary that we didn't see, his total must be far, far higher then that. What's so darn impressive is that it's over 1000 that we've seen.

I would randomly guess he's killed more like 10,000 enemies rather than 1,100, but we just don't see the rest.

well the actual amount is even higher then this. Easiest mistake is the fact that guts is known as the slayer of 100 armored soldiers... no where in this entire list are there 100 soldiers killed after each other. and i think the same can be said on several other ocassions so the real kill ratio is even higher than this

I'll have to take your word on that one, I fully admit that while I skimmed the list, I didn't actually read it in its entirety to see that kind of detail.

how many people in history do you know who have single handedly even killed 100 men by themselves? guts is probably higher in his kill count... however... by no means should anyone say guts is soft... 1,000 men +++ who has even sat and counted out loud to 1,000?
