It does some great things from a gameplay standpoint, but it's a pretty average FPS all things considered.
Yeah i think it that´s a nice description of the game, it´s not revolutionary in any aspect but it won´t keep you bored, at least the first time you play it.
Same thing for Halo 2, altough unlike the first, the second game had something of a storyline.

Hahaha, Halo 2, storyline?!
Halo is relatively deep. Halo 2 doesn't do anything new.
Anyway, the original Halo is awesome. It's the second rennaisance of console FPSes, the first having come in the form of GoldenEye.

As a single player game, Halo is mediocre at best.
But the gameplay really shines in multiplayer. Real hard to get bored of Halo 1 or 2 if you have 3 friends around.

The multiplayer was alright in Halo 2 but single player i got sick of it pretty fast,just killing and killing without knowing why is boring.

the "next generation" i ts only beginning when the game devs are making their 3th game. de first game's are always about the graphics but and mostly all suck. i really hope that with all de power of the ps3/x360 they finally make games where you can fight realistic battles with 100 npc onscreen and al doing wthihat they have to do (not just standing)

MGS4 looks better than all the other nex gens so this title for this thread isnt totaly right

looking at obi-pie reminds me that Locoroco for psp has a unique style and makes the tilt in the ps3 controller seem more appealing.
