Tetsuya Nomura is a whore and a madman. I believe Square-Enix realizes this, but don't want to let him go, for some reason- so they've delegated unto him the task of milking FFXIII for all it is worth and more.

I just saw those FFXIII images and it's surprising to see how limited Nomura is as a character designer.
Everybody looks the fucking same.

In a surprise announcement during the speech, Sony basically ripped off Nintendo's controller and it looks awesome.
Feel bad for the big N though.
PS3 = $500 w/ 20GB hardrive
$600 w/ 60GB hardrive

Well, now we get to see some level of competition on this interactivity battle field. Sony will only have a tilt sensor though, while Nintendo will have true 3D positional detection going on.
But I feel kinda bad for Ninty too, seeing how no matter how you look at this it steals some thunder from one of their main attractions. Who knows though, maybe tomorrow will reveal even more secrets on Nintendo's part (other than a recently revealed speaker on the controller itself)
Oh, and there is no way I will be able to fork over 500-600$ for a game system. Looks like I will have to wait like 5 or 6 years until the price drops to like 200 or below

that is before the obligitory bundles, which should get them up, at least, another $100

Were you being sarcastic when you said that the PS3 controller looks awesome?
It's almost the same exact design as the PS2 controller. I guess it's an improvement from the 'boomerang controller' but i wouldnt say it looks awesome.

Be that as it may, but that still doesnt answer my question since you just said one meaningless sentence. So, what am I missing? I'm aware of the added functionality but it still doesnt seem awesome to me.

I won't lie though...that video of FF XIII looks damn good...at least FF Versus XIII won't play like the regular game since it's labeled as an action game and developed by the Kingdom Hearts team.

Kojima has been wanting to end it since MGS2.
Femto: It didn't feel like Nintendo had a strong hand this year- Twilight Princess was the only thing that got me excited, but just the presence of the Reggienator makes it worth a watch.
