Yeah the name sounds familiar, I think it's a video game, not sure though.
I can believe that it's famous, because it was good, one of the first serie I invested in. Still not regretting it.

Most of the shoujo are cliched and only have stereotypes, mostly the only good thing about shoujo is that they have fanservice for the girls. Oh, and some of them are "pretty".

I'm really not surprised at all seeing shojo here. after all, what does tokyopop sell anyway? SHOJO. and LOTS OF IT.

there is a number, a large number of stupid fan girls that for some unknown reason, desire shojo. bad, horrible and wispy shojo. and if it sells than they will publish more. its the sad truth.

now don't get me wrong, there are some great shojos out there. really. but the great ones are far less popular than the ones that suck. i don't know why fan girls have such bad taste, but they do. so the shojos that deserve to get more books published tend to get left behind, while " Ouran High School Host Club" gets in 4th on the list.

on another note, i am surprised to see Busou Renkin in there. i didnt know it was so popular. and of course, go berserk!!!

Berserk is still more popular than these mangas cause its in top ten all the time while the others except maybe OP,Naruto have only thier 15 minutes of fame right now.

Busou Renkin sells only thanks to Kenshin. The same mangaka.

Which is why i read it before and saw that Kenshin was his one hit wonder.

Kenshin was great,it was the first anime i watched and it made me a fan of anime and manga. Its a pure classic,wish more shonens was as good as that instead of unoriginal stuff like Naruto etc

That makes feel glad that my fav mangakas who are in this order Morikawa(Ippo) Inoue(Vagabond,Slam Dunk),Miura,Samura(BOTI) are magians for being able to write so good for 10+ years.

Isnt she is the creator of Inuyasha and Ranma?

If those are her best,then she never was very good, inuyasha is okay repetive but okay. Ranma is horrible.
