Are we watching the same show here? Or are you just tripping on acid while you're watching it? Don't get me wrong, I've seen it and I think it's one of the best "kid's shows" the CN has and I really like it, but it's no "Rocko's Modern Life". That shit was the realist.
At least CN is putting Craig McCraken to good use instead of the Powerpuff crap. Makes me wish they would stick their foot up Genndy Tartakovsky's ass and bring back Samurai Jack. The Clone Wars stuff he did was OK IMHO, but there is a shortage of wandering samurai on TV.

I never watched Rocko.
Bottom line, this is one of the best shows (if not the best) Cartoon Network has put out in a really long time.
Witty, smart, great characters, best opening ever, inventive, etc, etc, etc.
The whole premise of the show is just brilliant.

Yeah, the premise of the show is damn good. But you can't tell me some sort of drugs were not involved in the creation process of some of these Imaginary Friends.
As for Rocko, you have missed out man. Those were the days, when Nickelodeon played good shows, and cartoons were cartoons. Mind you, this was all before Sponge Bob What-the-fuck-is-my-sexual-orientation-Pants and before Ren and Stimpy ended, only to come back as one big (really bad) gay joke. And for anyone who DID watch Rocko and refuses to accept it's superiority over all over cartoons, I give you two words:
WACKY DELI.

Rocko is the best goddamn cartoon evar. I never cared much about a kangaroo until Rocko came along. After that, I decided that when I'm going to drive one day, I'll never run them over. I shouldn't make promises I can't keep, but I was young.
Heffer makes me laugh so badly.

I don't think that's the case but regardless, what difference does it make?
Foster's has really great and inventive character designs, you should stop trying to knock them by thinking about how they came to be.
As a matter of fact, I know drug-free people that have created animated shorts and characters that are just as creative. You shouldn't think that that sort of crazy, off-the-wall characters can only be a by-product of drugs, because that's not true. In fact, take a couple of minutes and look for an animated short called "Moonraker" by Fran Krause and see how imaginative people can really be on their own. I'm not trying to offend you here, but that kind of attitude seems really ignorant to me.
As for Rocko, I never had cable back then so I never got a chance to watch it. I knew people with good taste that used to talk about it, so I expected it to be decent at the very least. I think it's on Toon Disney or something, so I'll try to catch it one of these days.

Rocko's modern life was the greatest shit to ever come to TV, I cried when they canceled it. Every few years there's always gotta be a genius kids cartoon that apeals to all ages, like Foster's home, but you gotta love the 90's when they there were no japanese influences and everything was so original.

Rocko wasn't a kangaroo, he's a wallaby

, that show expanded our knowledge like nothing else

.
Anyone still remember Invader Zim, Catdog, or The Angry Beavers?

I saw Catdog and Angry Beavers on Nickelodeon lots of times. They were good and laughed with those shows lots of times, but they remind me of "Ren and Stimpy", but ren and stimpy were better: they were more insane and it was more original back then.

I don't remember the finer details of it, but I certainly remember watching it when I was younger.

Count duckula was really awesome, remember a game I used to play on my Commodore 64 when I was younger based on the series.
It wasnt that good game at all. But still I played it like a maniac just because it was based on the series

Yeah, Ren and Stimply was great.
Too bad John K. ruined the characters with Adult Cartoon Party and turned the show into trashy "I've got a hard-on" bullshit.

That show was awsome, that huge retarded chick waitress with that british accent wins in so many levels.
Ren and stimpy was cool, but those close ups......THE CLOSE UPS!!
