I think it'll be far more interesting if Sonia comes and helps Guts with her telepathy. I can't really recall the chapters a couple of months ago about which city location Mule and her were leading the pope to, so I might be wrong with that. I don't think it's anywhere near where Guts and company are, to be honest.

Next chapter is going to be all out carnage. If these sword beasts can't even stand a blow from Guts, what chances does the party have against him in his berserker state, especially with Schierke out of commission? Would she somehow regain control and calm Guts down, or would she have some outside help?

I am expecting some interference with SK... I sure do hope so anyway.
Or perhaps Farnese will calm down guts... but that would suck:(.

Alrighty who, how, with what help:

Silke and Guts work together while she is with in the armor to get her Astral body out of the armour, this cause Guts to be more concence about the things around him when he is in Berserker mode

So either A: she underestimated herself, B: She gets some outside help, or C: by being along for the ride from the very beginning, as it were, she is able to keep him from ever completely loosing it, and so he doesn't need to be brought back.

After all, we saw when he first used the armor (after she brought him back the first time) that he can use it while "aware", as he did to save all his companions from Apostles in the forest. So maybe he never quite lost his mind all the way this time. Which of the three possibilities do you favor? Or do you have some other idea? Anyone?

she will get seriously hurt, not before professing her love for guts. thus snapping him out of the berzerker trance.

i think it is about time a character gets fatally wounded or dies.

i am guessing that a sudden death in the party will shock readers and thats what the writer will want.
