This is very true, individual users using a web-browser have little impact on the server. When I see abuse or server strain, it is because someone is doing something they are either not aware of or are being pricks.

Trust me, having more people online here and being on the forums is a good thing, that is good growth in my opinion.

we have got 3000+ members.
i think about 50 are regular posters. maybe 1000 are lurkers or register for berserk downloads.
and the rest???

does the forum prune members regularly?

the forum does not prune members, that would be rude to those that just signed up to get direct downloads.

i only prune people who signed up for accounts but never activated and that are older than a month.

Sadly its not that good in other forums.

I have seen forums like these where 80% post,its a wreck to many people,too many noobs,idiots etc

Thats why i like this forum so much we are atleast 50 that post regulary and 99% of us are nice people.
