Yeah but he have done so many great movies without winning.

The Avatior was great,it should have won instead some boxning movie. Its just they apparently hate Scorsese.

I thought Aviator was boring.

I fell asleep watching it. While the direction was done beautifully, there wasn't any major climax in the film, I found myself age as I watched the film.

Clint Eastwood for director and actor.

I hope Paul Walker gets canned from being in Clint's new movie, Flags of Our Fathers.

If not canned I hope he gets killed early in the movie.

Clint Eastwood's The Unforgiven was one of the best westerns I've ever seen.

Nolan's upcoming movie, The Prestige, has an incredible cast; Christopher Bale, Hugh Jackman, David Bowie, Michael Caine etc. I haven't read the book, but the plot sounds a bit clichee, rival magicians in turn-of-the century London. But, anyways, Nolan can come up with a good movie out of it.

Just finished Sympathy for Lady Vengeance. Great movie, but Old Boy is still Park Chan Wook's best.

It will be almost impossible for Wook to make a better movie than Old Boy.

I also watched Seven Swords. It seemed kinda like the Chinese version of Seven Samurai. Nice fight scenes, lacking plot, and little character development.

6.5/10

7 swords?

4/10.

Cheesy dialogue, terrible plot, tonnes of plot holes, irrelevant cut scenes, etc.

The plot was decent. Not mind blowing stuff, but decent.

They´re gonna make hollow man 2?
Had no idea about that, might be better then the first one.
Who is gonna direct it ?

I saw "Azumi" yesterday. Didnt like some parts off the movie, like the fight scenes for example. I mean come on, Azumi cut´s a spear in half and the one holding the spear dies!!? How the heck did that happen?

But you must confess that mostly the sword action was awesome atleast when Azumi killed so beautifuly. Azumi 2 is alot better.

I just saw Syriana and Good night, and good luck not too long ago. (Syriana last night as a matter of fact.) Have to say that these were the two best movies I have seen of last year and will be hard to beat this year.

I hope he will make the follow up Dos too. And not just some no name director that fucks it all up.

I have "Azumi 2" at home actually. Maybe I should see it too, as long as people don´t die from getting their weapon broken I´ll be satisfied

Hostel is on the road to be the worst movie of 2006. Some thing uber shitty better come out to top it for the number 1 spot.

ok sure the plot was very weak, but there was more intense scenes than all the scary/horror movies combined in the past couple years minus the saw movies. i thought it made up for the weak plot. i give it a 7.0/10

Saw acouple of movies while I was out in California, Chronicles of Narnia and Fun with Dick and Jane. Chronicles was good, would have been better if Disney knew how to shoot a epic battle, and fun with DandJ has hilarous i am talking funniest movie I have seen in a long time. Jim Carrey is awsome, Lair Lair funny minus the silly plus real life situations. Great movie good ending a must see, not in a movie theater but a must see in your life time.
