Real life is a vague concept, I gather. Why talk in real life when you can chat online, where your messages are sent instantenously?

Nope. They are most likely sitting 10 feet apart and just doing this over the inter-web. Unless one of them wants to borrow a game/anime or maybe play SFIII.

True story: A week ago, my older bro bought a DS and on the same day my little bro bought one. The weird part is that they both didn't know that the other was planning on buying a DS, let alone on that specific day.

Anyway, that Xenosaga DS game looks kinda crappy. I was hoping it would look better.

Well, I could of sworn there were others that showed interest in the series for the story alone or they actually liked it as a game entirely.

I Recently bought an imported Red DS, but it wouldnt turn on after the first time i charged it, so i thought maybe i got a shitty battery or something, after i got the battery replaced it happened again, so i was like wtf!? I went back and they gave me an new system and it seems to be working properly... i love it. Anyone ever heard of that happening cuz it had the store owner baffled too.

P.S im playing Trauma center and Dawn of Sorrow right now, Both of them are off the hook!

Only that would happen to you my man. No one else has that much bad luck. Dragging me to the store twice, for shame.

I don't think that is the actual design they are gonna go with. Did Nintendo even release that image or is that an idea from who ever did the article?

I'm finally sold on the DS.

A new Megaman franchise, more Castlevanias and Secret of Mana did it.

As soon as the re-designed version hits shelves, provided it doesn't suck of course, you can count me on the DS bandwagon.

The DS has restored my faith in Nintendo as a succesful video game company and I hope the Revolution pushes the envelope even further.

PS: I still think the dual-screen/touchscreen are bullshit gimmicks and you will most definitely NOT see me playing Nintendogs or lawyer bullshit game, but I cannot deny Castlevania and Megaman, much less Seikendensetsu.

Lawyer bullshit game is not gimmicky, hell, it's just four cases from the previous Gyakuten Saiban (GBA) games vaguely re-mastered and put on the DS. Plus an original, fifth case (or was that three cases and a fourth?).

The Mega Man game looks great. And it is just great to see all the true 2D games with sprites and the whole 9 yards come out for the DS.

I said before that I won't bash the DS in this thread and I'm not about to start now, so don't tempt me Mune.

Actually, the idea of owning a DS has been slowly growing on me just because there are so many titles I see myself enjoying. Off the top of my head, there's Castlavania, the upcoming Megaman, Secret of Mana, Advance Wars, Wi-Fi Mario Kart and Animal Crossing, which I definitely want to try. As far as original titles go, the PSP only has Goku Makaimura.

As I said, I still think the touchscreen and dual screen are unnecessary gimmicks, but I already see them growing on me as well.

But seriously, if you think a lawyer game or a doctor game or Nintendogs have any value as a video game, then I think you need to slap yourself a couple of times. Novelties for sure, but they won't stand the test of time. Now that the "freshness" of using a touchscreen is over is when we'll see what the DS is really made of.

And I have to admit, it's looking good.
