Zoan allows the user to transform into an animal such as Chopper's Hito-Hito fruit which allows him to transform into a human (he's a reindeer). Zoan users can assume three different forms: full-human, full-animal, and an inbetween form (Chopper however is able to break this rule).
Logia allows the user's body to become a pure element such as fire or lightning. These are highly valued and can make the user nearly invincible since it can switch between physical and elemental. Not only that, the user can use his elemental powers to cause devastating attacks! Take Marine Admiral Ao-Kiji, he uses the power of the Hie-Hie fruit which allows him to become pure ice. Ao-Kiji is able to use these ice powers in order to perform the unbeleivably powerful attack "Ice Age" which is capable of freezing miles of ocean for a full week. Logia users cannot simply be fought in a normal way. You must first find its weakness depending on the element in order to keep the user in a solid shape.
