Early versions of Crackdown came with the Halo 3 BETA, although to most people who bought it the game appeared more like this. The public date for Xbox Live users to be able to get into the Halo 3 BETA was today (The press has had it for a few days now) but something has gone wrong and people aren't able to get it. Hence riots in the street from rabid Halo fans.

Well its working now. but its downloading at the speed of shit so we shall see. It better be as good as its been hyped. Which I doubt.

It's pretty ridiculous to see people go absolutely insane like this over a fucking 3 map beta but I guess that's a testament to how popular Halo really is.

Halo 3 BETA is pretty awesome, not that I am very good at Multiplayer or anything, but there are a couple of things that turned me off: one was the waiting for a game to match up, I am not sure if this had to do with the location or what but I waited about 20 min to get on a ranked match. two I couldnt even get into the rumble pit games  so I went in to team events and got smoked because I am not a team player

A couple of good things great graphics, it may look like Halo 2 but every thing is shinner and more detailed, removeable turrets  , weird throwable weapons like the spike grenade, and bubble sheild, and last but not least the HUD IMO is great although I liked Halo 1's use of health and sheild instead of being like "will this bullet kill me.... no but that one will... no well maybe that one will.... (seven bullets later)... ok I am dead... oh wow my shield came back up in the nick of time" all in all I like it and I am going to buy it  but not for the Multiplayer because I suck :(

I've played it, and it's alright. I'm looking forward to campaigning it more though. The multiplayer gets kind of boring after a while.

I did not like the Halo 3 beta at all :P
Expect the campaign to kick ass though

I wanted to show it off to a couple of mates the other night that come round but it won't allow more than one player to come online.

If you are referring to the Halo 3 beta, it does allow more than one person to play online. You just need to play a different game type like team training or rumble training.

As in split-screen, yeah I've done that on the Halo 3 beta.

I got a chance to play WarTech: Senko No Ronde over the weekend. Personally, I really liked the game; it looks great and is a cool spin on the shooting genre. The game is not without it's issues though. Many of the game's speciall attacks involve directional inputs (Like Forward, Forward or a 360 motion) but since you are moving around constantly and not always on a horizontal plane getting the desired attack takes a lot of practice and at times a little bit of luck. Also there are some balance issues with certain characters, especially when it comes to their B.O.S.S. attacks. Some of them seem like gaurenteed damamge, while others are very easily avoidable. There is also the $60 price tag to consider, but I really can't fault G.Rev for that. This is another title that not only makes me want to get a 360, but a game that makes me want an XBL Account to set up some online matches. Anyone who gets any enjoyment out of Shooters, Fighters And epscially Virtual On games should give this game a try sometime.

Well the Halo 3 Beta is almost over, I guess it stops on Sunday :(

Anyway I partied out with this kid that knew all there was to know about custom games. These are game for those people who are in a party too big for one game. It goes something like this: get a team of 16 people together then invite one more person, when the game tries to start it will kick that person out into a custom game where you can change different elements of the game like (these are things I heard) super speed, a wraith (which now sits two people), Saber Sword, and other things (I cant remeber what else he said my brain stopped after sabre swords  ) then that person invites you to play.

So what did you guys think of the new multiplayer halo?? IMO it looks and feels awesome... if only I had a better internet connection, because of my lag I always die when I jump :(

I never got to play the Beta of Halo 3, but I've read about it and some previews of what we can see in the actual release and I liked what I saw:

*A toned down sword (It now will have "ammo" and a slightly longer weapon switch time)

* A more balanced Shotgun (Slightly better range but only 6 shot clip instead of 12. It sounds to me lik this is the shotgun that should have been in Halo 2 instead of the piss weak one in there) This is great for me because I'm a shotgun whore 8)

*Two words: Brute Chopper

*Customizable Spatan Armor (You can change up the helmet of your Spartan as well as the color/insignia)

I'm totally buying that Pac-man Championship Edition shizzle.

A bit pricey maybe and the lack of survival sucks but it's looking pretty awesome otherwise.

Senko no Ronde?

A fucking rip-off at that price.

watched the demo of Overlord, seems pretty cool so I think I might buy it at the release in a few weeks

Edit: Crap, The darkness is released the day after Overlord. Ough, which one to choose. Or should I buy both perhaps?
Hmm

There is a demo out for Overlord, I suggest you try it before buying. Personally, I thought it was crap.

The Darkness looks promising though.

Has anybody tried the Project Sylpheed demo yet?

I'm curious about that game.

Will cost 40 bucks apparently.

Project slyheed was so shitty and unfun. Yes unfun.

Overlord was pretty funny though. I hated how i actually helped the "good" humans in the demo. But my goblin partner told me it allows me to fuck them over later.
