That is a pretty cool AMV, and this one by far is the worst I've ever seen.

Seconded (or thirded?). It started off kind of interesting, but then it just got stupid when the singer opened his mouth.

Okay, at long last, I think I got my Berserk AMV on my website for all to DL. First, however, a little setup. Okay, so when I put it on there, it wouldn't all fit, so the very end of the video got cut-off, but that's okay, because it was all pretty much over at that point anyway. Hopefully you guys should be able to DL and watch this video without any problems, but if it doesn't work, please let me know. As for the video itself, it's set to the song Master's Apprentice by my favorite band, Opeth. Unfortunately I had to chop the song up and kind of butchered it, and the damn video file size is still huge. However, you can't really tell that parts of the song are missing, unless you know what you're listening for. The song is normally like 10 minutes long, if not longer. Also, unlike my first video, this one isn't so much about timing and editing, as much as it is about how the lyrics reference what’s being shown onscreen. So if you don't know the lyrics, or can't understand what's being said, I highly recommend you look up the lyrics. Well, that's pretty much it. It's far from perfect, or the best Berserk AMV out there, but I was pretty proud of it. Check it out, and let me know what you think, but please, be nice and subtle if you think it's a total piece. :)

This version of the AMV should end with Gatts throwing his cloak back as he gets ready to set out as the Black Swordsman.

*Nervous laughter* Well, I hope you like it, but I make no promises. :?

Personally I think it's great, but my opinion is pretty biased, heh.

Starnum i was watching your AMV over and over again .There is only one thing i can say - Respect !!!The clip is awesome ,and i dont think that there is better song for this video .
There is a peace I am searching
There is a freedom I'm depending on
There is a pain that's never ending
There is a rain falling only on me
There is a dream I am living
There is a life I am dreaming of
There is a death I'm awaiting
There is a home I am deserting

Ah, thanks man, I really appreciate that. Yeah, when I was trying to pick the song for that video, before I really knew what I wanted to do, I listened to that song, and all these scenes from Berserk (the ones you see right there in the video) started flooding into my mind. I've kind of been watching it a lot in the last couple days, which has been a while, honestly. Yeah, it's no marvel of audio-video editing, but I put a lot of thought into it. I really love this video, probably as only an artist can love one of his own creations. I'm just glad that there may be others out there that can now appreciate this video nearly, if not as much as me. :D

Nice video. Great editing too. I haven't heard the song before and I could barely tell if you cut parts of it out. I couldn't understand half the lyrics the guy was singing in the beginning but the second half of the video gave it a lot more substance. Great job overall.

How long did that take?

I know that this isn´t exactly amv, but it´s real blessing at least to me, cos I was wondering about the first Berserk game. So if anyone find it interesting...

And I have a question if someone haven´t done the hard work and made subtitles for it? English subtitles for example :)

Actually I make it a personal rule to never drink or smoke before doing video editing. That's for after the video is done. (-:

I've never seen a Berserk AMV done to a non-berserk related Susumu Hirasawa song. Some of his songs that weren't made for Berserk OST or games sound like they would go so well with Berserk. If anyones interested but doesn't know any good songs of his, then I'll suggest a few that I was thinking about using for an AMV. (I suck at that kind of stuff so i gave up)

The first 2 are probably the best to use.
An Expert Mountain
Indra
Kajiwotore <----he later modified this to make forces
Moonlight
Rotation
Kaishuu sen
Black in White
Ashura Clock

Also I remember someone saying earlier in this thread that they didn't like how that one AMV referred to Casca as "wanting to be abused." Of course I don't either. But when I watched it, the way interpreted the lyrics was as if they were the intentions of the beast inside Gattsu trying to corrupt him. If you watch the video from about 2:10 - 2:30 you'll see where I get the idea from.

I don't know if this really counts as an AMV-- except for the bit at the end, I suppose-- but here's a little something I cooked up recently:
