Cool, I'll accept that. (In regards to the new chapter.)

I actually enjoyed this chapter for some reason.

[spoiler]I would expect no less of Sasuke at this point. If this is the road he's chosen, he may as well stick to it. I didn't particularly care for Karin anyway. Now watch her survive. He probably aimed the shot so that it wouldn't kill her, emo-boy that he is. I want to like Sasuke, but he doesn't make it easy. I'm a Team Naruto guy myself anyway. That's one thing I always liked about my favorite character Jiraiya, he's kind of like an old man version of Naruto. I miss Jiraiya...[/spoiler]

That would be ghey, and could not compare to Ace's death. Not that I don't like Kakashi too, but it wouldn't feel right, and I doubt it would be done as well. I hope Kakashi puts the beat down on him, but if Sasuke manages to kill him, well I won't be happy about it. Besides, he's still weakened from his battle with Danzou, and I'm pretty sure Kakashi is coming in fresh. There will probably be some kind of intervention, or Sasuke will have to turn tail and run.

i think the story would do well if kakashi DID get killed.

but if he was killed in the current fight it would seems like a big let down. i mean as other people pointed out sasuke should be at the point exhausting his resources and kakashi is coming in fresh.
unfortunately the way this manga tends to go is sasuke gets plot armor/hammer but kakashi narrowly survives...what a twist!

Sasuke is more than capable to pull off killing Kakashi in this fight. Whether he is tired or not isn't the issue. The real question is does Kakashi have what it takes to put Sasuke down once and for all? Then the question of the intervention.

Naruto's gonna come by in sage form and fuck sasuke's emo ass up. Seriously though, it's clear sasuke has gotten stronger than kakashi, but he is tore up too bad to even contend with kakashi right now, and he knows it. I don't see sasuke dieing anytime soon so I say the intervention idea is probably true.

Yeah, an intervention seems most likely. I hope Naruto shows up and beats the crap out of Sasuke and makes him run away. I can see how Kakashi's death could be good for the story. I'm surprised he didn't die last time. I just don't think it would feel right, or be very well done, here and now, like this.
