I have played Eve its okay, there is a lot of stuff to do, but having to wait for your skills to finish improving is annoying, towards the end I would log on just long enough to improve my skill and then log off

last update for FFXI so far. More attacks on gilsellers(RMT's) and the closing of CoP. Only thing expected next is a update when the expansion Treasures of Aht Urhgan ships april 18th.

Supposedly there are new classes in the new FFXI Expansion. Blue Mages which (Duh) use enemy magics that other characters can't and Corsairs, which are supposedly kind of like pirates and use a six-barreled rifle and rely on chance and gambling, kind of like Setzer from FFVI apparaently.

yep, i have been saying i'm a level 88 blue mage for over a year now but people didn't believe until now. Corsair sadly has placed me into saying nothing more the "CORSAIR SON!!" in linkshell chat, and it's a support class too so you know me(bard) will love it.

Corsair makes me want to play the game again...but I have to stay away from it.

The pics of the armor might turn you away, I know they turned me off from the class.

IMHO FFXI needs dyes like Guild Wars. Iwasn't too pleased with the Dragoon (My favorite FF class) Artfiact Armor being purple.

Pirates never dress really appealing you must be thinking of the Celts! I mean look at Captain hook, he has stockings like everyone else in that age!! But god i love the Corsair's hat, now just for a eyepatch....

Drg AF is pretty much trash you can skip it by just wearing a scorp harness basicly then wear the blue Relic(high artifact) or the new JSE(kinda, wars can wear it too). People just wear the AF because they don't want to farm the cash other DD do for their stuff. But i'm a bard(we're cheap) so shit i can't talk!

I just gave Evercrack 2 a try since SOE put up a free 7 day trial thingey on te EQ2 website. All I have to say is meh. "Meh" pretty much describes the game to me. It's pretty enjoyable, and while I definately haven't seen anywhere near what it has to offer, I didn't really get excited at the thougth of learning more and progressing (Maybe it's because I hit the level 6 cap they put on the trial in like an hour ). I dunno, given that and how many people I know who play other games, I'd choose WoW or FFXI over this any day of the week.

Zera is looking sweet. I want to see my gameplay footage. It will be a big disappointment if this game didn't get released in the states.

Anyone who is a fan of Guild Wars (Anyone? Anybody? Helloooooo) will just love this news:

Guild Wars 2!

Features include:

-A Persistant World (Like WoW, where you can meet players in between cities) but also Instanced Events (Things that occur only for you and your party)

-Different Playable Races and Professions

-No Level 20 Cap

-The ability to move certain things between your GW account and your GW2 account.

It won't come out for at least another year or so, but it's got me hooked!

Just about 2 years this May, actually. And there's been 3 expansions, with a 4th coming this holiday season. The difference there is that the 3 expansions that are out now you can play as stand alone games (Unlike most MMOs), and while you can hook up all 3 on one account, you don't have to. Besides, as far as Expansions and "Adventure Packs" are concerned, nobody comes close to taking the title away from Everquest or EQ2, EQ1 had 13 expansions in 7 years, and EQ2 has had 5 come out in less than 2 years.

Like I said before, GW2 is a long ways away, the Beta alone won't be coming for at least a year.

I brought Guild Wars got to level 7 that day and didn't play again...

Should I be ashamed?
