Those are sweet covers, but come on, do you think we will be treated to such nice things in the US if it makes it over here??

Almost every cover I have seen in the US is not as good as it's Japanese counter part. Just my humble onpinion.

Oh and regarding my post, Neowave is coming here, but is Last Blade gonna make it to the states??

I've actually never heard of Neowave coming to the States, not for the PS2 at least. The Last Blade compilation has more chances of making it because it's a two-in-one pack. I pray to god that it does. Garou would be awesome too, but I don't see it happening.

And on the subject of covers, what I don't understand, for the KOF packs at least, is why they split the cover in half with two different pieces of artwork done by two completely different artists? Why not just use a single piece of artwork like with that Last Blade cover? Looks a lot more professional that way IMO.

Oh hell yeah, I love Last Blade. I use to go down to the arcade just to play Last Blade 2! Setsuna is awesome! :P

Hell yeah!

Setsuna = pure badassness!

Where do you think my title comes from?

Because that would look better and make too much sense Femto.

There have been many travesties of justice when it comes to the US release covers. Jet Grind Radio for the dreamcast, case and point.

But any who, it's all about Kojiroh in Last Blade 2, she is teh shit!

Oh, and as for Neowave, I have not heard any thing concrete, just rumors.

God, I have edited this post like 5 times. :?

Here's hoping they both come here, it would be so pimp ot add those to my growing colection of fighting games. And I also hope we get pimp covers and CDs. O'm pretty sure they keep covers when they come over, but the CDs change a lot. Ours suck :( .

And it has always been about, and will always be about that Kaede in Last Blade, as well as Amano (He's got the magic stick, you know). And if I could work Speed mode better, it would be all about Lee. I can't play 2 a lot since I only have an emulation for the original, but I remember liking to play Hibiki when I did play 2.

no shes not. all her attacks are ranged attacks that move into the opponent. they're almost unavoidable, so to compensate she has no projectile attack, and thas wut u use against her. so when shes attacking, all you have to do is shoot a projectile at her and shes stopped. cheap, but gets the job done

but shes still my fav to play with, i loved her combos

In cvs2 people dont expect you to pick blanca or cammie becuase they're so cheap. Just like they dont expect you to use custom grooves.

The whole Capcom side is whack. I don't use any of them them that much. Except Ken once in a while, and Akuma. It's a ll about the SNK side, and my team of C-Groove Yamazaki, Rugal, and Rock. Eventually I want to switch Rock out with Geese if I take the time to learn him better, then I can give my team the name of "The Legion of Doom"

In CVS2, Blanka is mad cheap. His A-Groove combos own too much. Fantastic amount of damage and can be started off a sliding sweep.

And yeah, most people I know who play the game pretty hardcore don't use custom grooves because it is pretty much cheating.

Maybe in Street Fighter II, but not in Capcom VS SNK 2, there are way too many ways around that one move. Hell you can just roll cancel into super with Ken or just do a super with Sagat.

Roll cancel... wow that shit kills me every time. And E. honda has nothing. If you roll cancel, then you're pretty much god like. There is ways to beat roll cancels, but blah why learn to beat it when you can learn to do it?

Man, you want a cheap multi attack, try Jae Hoon's qcf+P in Garou:Mark of the Wolves. He brings his leg up and holds it for as long as you want (to a point). During this time he can gaurd. Then his leg fires out like a shitload of kicks that takes LIFE. Add that with the fact that his two super arts can be linked together and take like 70% life and you have a cheap ass character. Kim WISHES he could do damage as easily as his son. Although Kim is cooler IMHO.

omg mark of the wolves is ownage, though i think Kain is the cheapest since his projectile attack is up diagonla and straight, which mean you can turtle like a bitch. Butt is freakin cazy good too.

Lots of fighters have characters with diagonal projectiles. SF3 has three: Oro, Urien, and Gill. While it is possible for Kain to turtle a lot, epecially since he's a charger, to effectively hit someone mid air with a diagonal projectile requires either a lot of skill, or a lot of luck. Basically you have to guess when the opponent will jump.

thats where its simple, you throw a couple of striahgt ones, then you see a jump WHAM! hit them and then start up a super and durign the super you whack the shit out of them. There is a reason why Kain is the Final Final Boss.

I doubt that's the reason he's the final boss. The onyl reason he's difficult is because after you beat him once his entire life bar becomes his TOP bar. And who's to say I won't Just Defend all the straight fireballs. If anything, it's easier to catch people in Terry's rising knee.

Its Terry Bogard, he's ownage and nobody can do anything about it.

I actually don't know who is the best in mark of the wolves. I never got into the game hardcore. Maybe Femto knows.

From what I remember, Kevin Ryan and Butt are gods in MOTW and I think Freeman and Gato are close behind. There isn't anything extremely abusable in the game though, not as far as I know at least.

Truth is, I never really obsessed over this game, but it's arguably what got me into the neo and, more importantly, into fighting games in general. I still remember that sensation of experiencing something completely new and different when I played it for the first time. The music, the animation, Terry beautiful looking Power Wave, it was just pure bliss. The only other time that something like that has happened to me, was when I first saw DBZ. Keep in mind that it was the first anime series I saw and it was that awesome episode early on, when Gohan bursts out of Radditz' spaceship at the end of the episode, not to mention Toriyama's unique character designs.

I haven't had that kind of sensation in a REALLY long time...

I know Butt (Lord, why did they change his name, that is so retarded, for those who don't know, in the Japanese version he had the MUCH cooler name of Marco Rodrieguez) is really good. His "secret" super (3 qcf's and then strong punch rapidly) is super good. Depending on ho many times you hit it, it gets up to be a 22 hit combo. If you hit strong punch enough times, it is guarenteed to break a person's guard and do some pretty good damage. Only problem is it requires a P-level gauge. :?

*EDIT* Damien - Not a fan of MvC 1 or 2, but I like Vampire Savior a lot. Jedah is the realist! That man/vampire/thing is a PIMP!
