Then perhaps we will get to see Caska come back to "life"
Wow, she's been this way for a
long time. Truth be told, I never actually expected her to return back to "normal".
Well, I guess if she does come back that part will a huge drama.
(Higher then the average drama amount already implanted in Berserk that is)
But about that upcoming battle with the Kushans Army and the Vatican. I somehow doubt that we will see it. All of it I mean, maybe just a glimpse of the destroction and chaos but then I think Miura will skip it and show us something else. (Guts and crew or that Bishop or something).
But most likely all we will see is that battle considering that there hasn't been a release date yet (or that Miura is human and needs to take a break once in a while =|)

Jesus, totally forgot that she
can be cured... Which reminds me of Skully's words - that that might not be what she would have wanted. Will she remember the journey? Will she remember Gutts trying to rape her? How will she cope with all the new members of Gutts' party?

my thoughts too.
Note that the level of detail of the battle was superb and very hard to top off so, i believe Miura is going to focus on other things for now.

That is probably some resolution WE are all waiting for from Miura. What really happened to Caska's mind and why SK said those words.
On a personal note i believe that we will have some nice treats for christmas this year.

Possibly, depending on what you mean by treats, but if you expect Caska to be healed by then, you're dreaming. Heck, for all we know, the next chapter might not even be out by then (though I sincerely hope that it isn't anything like that long).

Oh no! Owen! Hahaha, poor guy.
Nice to see that people are still getting hit in the eyes with arrows. I don't think I'd feel comfortable if there was a panel with a bunch of randoms being killed from raining death and not one of them was hit in the eye - or throat, for that matter.
I hope to see some wicked slaughter.

Ummm... Ironical or just plain weird?

I'm voting on just plain weird, personally.

I don't exactly like seeing people have an arrow jammed in a rather unfortunate place (such as the eye), but if it never happened again - I would certainly miss it.

I'm going to say unique, I like it. Who doesn't appreciate a depiction of a row of soldiers being put down by a row of bloody arrow death? *looks confused*

Weird it is. Discussion concluded
Who doesn't appreciate a depiction of a row of soldiers being put down by a row of bloody arrow death?
The row of soldiers, perhaps?

Nah, they're all dead, so they don't care. The ones who don't appreciate it are the soldiers standing directly behind them, who are now exposed to the
next flight of arrows.

Disturbing more than weird. Then again I enjoy the random orgy sequences that are thrown into the mix. Its a good laugh for me because its like "Why the fuck can't I "just" happen to stumble into one of those".

How very true...

I agree!
And then, the image of that poor syphilis-wrecked girl comes to haunt me...

Also the fact that at least in Berserk, all of the people who attend those orgies tend to come to very bad ends. Attending orgies in Berserk is not good for your life expectancy.

well, you don't really need a long life when you have orgies. I would gladly trade many years of my life for several good Berserk orgies.

Ya, i think i'll pass on that..
there is something unappealing about having another mans Nut Sweat dripping down your lag while you're trying to work.
Plus there's always the risk of some dude getting experimental while you're bent over and distracted.
No, orgies are not for the faint of heart. But real men like Guts and Chuck Noris want nothing to do with them.

I think you should really ask
them first what they think. We might be surprised

Well, despite the number of orgies in the series, the fact that we've never seen Guts at one (at least not as a participant) could probably count as a clue that they're not really his thing. As for Chuck Noris, I freely admit that I have no clue at all. For all I know, orgies are part of his daily existence.

Well, the greatest orgy lovers in entire goddamn human history were Romans, right? Right. And the Rome lasted for about 1000 years. Pretty good for a bunch of sexually frustrated wierdos. They ruled the whole damn world and no other country lasted for that long. And guess when did they fall? When they became Christians. Go figure.

I agree that Guts is probably not much of an orgy lover but there were only like three real orgies in the entire series, and he stumbled into only one of those (and at that moment he had Casca to protect) so we can't be sure.

Well we have no topic to get back to, because the new chapter is not yet out (for all we know that's because Miura is spending too much time at the orgies)
Look I am not a pervert or anything like that, I am just contemplating all alternative lifestules. Now when I think about it all, I would definitely like to try orgy ONCE in my lifetime (I'll wait until they invent cure for AIDS), and I am not sure If I would like it. Probably not.
I didn't want to offend anyone.

Well at request I would like to hear what everyone thinks about the whole Berserk Armor.
As SK said the prolonged usage of the armor will take things away from Gatts. I just wonder how much it will take from him. Plus at this point he seems to want to settle down and just protect Caska. How can he if he must use the armor more and more plus the part of his psyche that wants to continue to just destroy....
yeah I'm just thinking of stuff to get off of the orgy topic.
Posted: Wed Oct 11, 2006 6:19 pm
by 42ndEndOfTheWorld
Well, Skull Knight had carried that armor long before Guts, so we can see the result. SK has no real urge to destroy everything, but he is no longer human, and he probably has no feelings and stuff.
So I don't think that he'll become destructive force or anything, merely less emotional and all.

A great example for post hoc misconception.
