That is what's great about Berserk. Watching Guts face impossible odds and triumph.

Guts is the struggler... so yeah I agree, it's kind of what makes berserk what it is.

If Guts didn't have his epic struggle against his enemies, it would be a lot easier for him. People don't like reading or watching anything where there is no conflict. They want to see the hero struggle, and through that struggle, we begin to see the heroes not as images, but actually as heroes. To make Berserk as great as it is now, Guts needs to keep struggling with that armor and not have some Deus Ex Machina.

Well anyway, I have seen Guts struggle like the rest of you, but I love it, like with Sliatt, when he easily overcomes foes while kind of playing with them

I don't know about everyone else, but, personally, I believe Guts is pretty damn near invincible to physical struggle. What I'm really hoping to know is how in the hell, is he going to deal with the mental struggle if his new entourage is all killed off like his old band. Mental guilt of lossing someone Guts just became friends with is a shit load more devastating, than physically annihilating an army of orcs. Hm...who's death would damage Guts more......

Man these chapters are so short. I WANT MORE.

I think I should wait about a year and download em all (so that I got many to read) but I can't wait that long I even get pissed waiting for the other chapter to be released. Don't take me wrong, you guys are the only one doing this SO... keep up the good work.

Tell that to Miura, not us. We scanlate them as soon as the chapter raw pop up, so if you want more, threaten Miura or something.

I was going to start a thread about the changes in the helmet over the three times we have seen it, when I reliezed that when Guts first used the armor, after Shierke was able to talk to his self confidense, he has able to stay in berserk mode and yet not kill his friends. I wonder how long they ran before Guts took off the armor and passed out?

Given how close behind them that Apostle was when Gutts noticed and started after them, probably not very. On the other hand, you do raise an interesting point. He did show in that fight that it's possible (at least with Schierk's help) for him to use the full power of the armor and not "loose" himself. I wonder how long he could have maintained it, if he'd needed to?

He isnt near invincible when there are apostle that can kill him like it was nothing despite him having the armour like the neo hawks apostles. Zodd is even still stronger. He is near invincbile for a HUMAN but there are bigger being thans humans in Berserk Apostles,God Hands etc


Whose death would damage most? Its a no brainer, Casca cause she is his love,his friend and the last connection to his old friends.

common! I just got that idea because of the expression, I feel that there is a slight diference between 270 and 270th .. anyway I just asked, dont make a fuss about that
