Female soldier in the future who is smoking hot is genetically altered/trained to be super strong/fast/hot is betrayed by those who made/employed her and made into a pariah has to essentially bring them down singlehandedly by killing a ridicuous amount of low-level thugs in an over-the-top yet incredibly sexy fashion all the while shooting out generic catch phrases and wit-less banter.

I said it before and I'll say it again. We did this before, it was called Aeon Flux. The actress was hotter and it still was not good at all.

Equilibrium is a pretty goddamn bad movie, can't believe my eyes when I read the rating on IMDB (which is the reason why I rented it out).

Cubix as it was called here wasnt bad it was pretty good action.

Gunkatana is awesome,Bale looked cool what more do you need.

Sorry, the action in Equilibrium was pretty terrible and cheap, and major plot holes and the rest of the terrible plot hitting me hard on the head made me regret watching that crap. I'll have to give it 2/5, and it's because I find the concept of a future without literature and without any emotion-stimulus intriguing but handled poorly in this film. A very mediocre film.

I saw a glimpse of a fight in Equilibrium and it sure was funny as hell. Wtf is with the gun battles?!

How come Equilibrium comes up every once in a while in this thread?

If this keeps up, we're gonna make it a classic.

I liked Equilibrium.

But I am a sci-fi nerd.

I don´t really know what I thought about that movie really.
It ws ok, but the story was kinda thin.

Saw "The Descent" today, was ok halfway through but got to much action oriented in the end.

I loved equilibrium but that maybe because i have a gay thing for Christian Bale.....damn regin of fire sucks but he went out like a dying man(eaten while in the air).

Watched Born to fight: Pretty good fight sequences, nice action, lack of story somewhat, but what do u expect with a ballstothefloor action film. 7.5/10

Debiruman: 7.5/10 COULD have been much better IMHO. I am a fan of The Devil man saga, so I might be more generous than others.

The Libertine comes out March 10. I think it will be a good one. Drinking one's self into a grave is fun to watch!

Hold on, are we staying that Charlize Theron is hotter than Milla Jovovich? Ha, I think not. Have you ever seen Monster? (The American movie, no relation to the manga.) Ew *shivers*. Something you need to realize though, is that Mrs. Theron had very little training for that movie. Unlike Jovovich, who already had prior training I'm sure. Not to mention that the choreography in this movie is obviously better. I can tell that just from the previews. Pay attention to their difference in form while performing the maneuvers, surely there's a stunt double being used. Granted, I'm sure it won't be perfect, but I'm betting it'll be what Aeon Flux, should've been.

I havn't seen Monster, but I've seen stills, and contrary to some people's belief, that is not just her without makeup or any beauty stuff one. From what I read she had to eat a ton of junk food and high calorie stuff for 3 or 4 months and still had certain prostetics and other things used on her face because she was still too hot to do the role as was.

That's the way I heard it too.
Anyhow, Charlize is hotter IMO, but I'll rather watch Ultraviolet.

Theron is hot but Milla is so much hotter her eyes are the most beautiful in showbuisness. Ever since RE i have had a thing for her.
