I'm not so sure about the statue thing, but I do know that Brazil turn up at every World Cup expecting to win it. The problem is, they have a lot of individual players and tend not to work well as a team. That and the fact that everyone wants to play up front, even the goalie.
I watched that vid and yes, Ronaldinho is the best in the world. Here's another reason why (if you watch it make sure you watch the whole vid)...
You remember his goal where he powered through John Terry who was twice his size.

Yep Ronaldhino is the best , and that goal he scored to Sevilla this past sunday oh my gosh , that guy is crazy .

I remember hearing that when he used to play in France for Paris Saint Germain, the defenders he used to show up would get personally offended! The guy's a one man team, saying that though he ain't selfish either. He probably sets up just as many goals as he scores.
