I'm is a contraction of I am. phpSpell uses a US dictionary of words and uses mysql to do a soundex comparison (how it sounds) so it can offer options to you if you spelt the word wrong. The letter ' is not pronouncable thus making it weird and fails. Not a bug, in that it can't make the comparison to the ' thus flagging it as a misspelling of something. Adding ' support might come later depending on the quality of phpSpell.
