Needless to say, whether or not they do or do not make a second season of Berserk, Till Lindemann is this world's incarnation of Guts! :headbang:

highly unlikely due to the deux ex machina involved post eclipse. Skullknight plays very integral part of the story and I fear that to much would be lost with him being cut out. Same with puke.

Not saying it is impossible, just highly improbable.

Well, the story could be altered to include them later. Skull Knight didn't really do too much till he showed up during the Eclipse anyway, you could start from there.

But how do you explain that? He would just come out of nowhere without any context from the previous novels in the manga.

It wouldn't be that hard to do, it's not like we knew much about him before he intervened at the eclipse. Obviously some explanation would be in order, but it could be done. As was said, the story would just have to be molded based on what was already established in the first season of the anime. Thus Skull Knight would be a new character. Its totally possible.

Gatts: Who the hell are you?

Skull Knight: An old enemy of the God Hand.

Gatts: Fair enough.

then we run into the Matrix problem, we all liked the first movie but the following 2 sucked ass. Why? Because it explained to much, so much was contrived to make the story work. I felt ultimately let down.

Same applies here.

However, should he make a sequel that mirrors the manga... I could be convinced to watch that, but we would lose continuity between the original series.

They're also have to include Puck from somewhere. And without SK's earlier introduction in the series, it would feel a bit forced to have him come out of nowhere. Personally, I think the Golden Age was perfect for the anime series, because it was a smaller arc into the entire plot that had an climatic ending. If we were to include the current manga storyline in the anime, it would be inefficient to fit it the story arcs in 26 episodes. Plus, I think it costs a pretty hefty sum to produce, and I doubt that Miura would want to bother with the animation medium right now.

I'm not too crazy about another season series, I think Berserk was well made on its own.

Think about it, if Miura does green light the anime series, he would have less time to draw the manga, hence more delays. OH NOES!!!!!!!111111

It could be a risk, I'll give you that, and this does concern me as well. However, I'd still like to see it done, because I believe with Miura on the job, it could be done, and done well. Yes, it would definitely need to be a job for after the manga concludes though, for sure.

So when is Griffith going to say I am god bow to me? I cant believe that he has kept up this nice guy routine for so long. I bet its because he knows there is "nothing" that can stop him so he needs to make it fun or something to that respect.

Griffith is actually made up of about 100 of the cutest kittens in the world. if he were cut by a sword, kittens would start tumbling out instead of blood. This is why he is able to attract so many people because they can't resist the cuteness of 100 of the worlds cutest kittens

So does that cause all dogs to instinctively hate him at first sight/smell? And maybe even try to chase him?

At last!! The true reason that Gut's beast takes the form of a dog is revealed! Instinctively, he realizes what Griffith is, and so his beast manifests as that things enemy.

So if Griffith is made up of cute kittens and Guts is made up from kick ass dogs... what about the rest of the characters in the series?

Pippin is probobly made from Hippos, their names are similar too.
Isidro is made from squirelles, because hes so damn jittery and runs around all over the place.

We already know that Isidoro is a monkey, actually. As for the others, hmm... some of them it's hard to say, but Schierke is clearly an owl.

Nah, he's just pretending to be a hawk so people will respect him more. His real nature is a bunch of cute kittens.

New Theory: Guts is a habitual user of PCP

Why? Let's see, he sees the craziest shit no one else sees. His pain threshold is inhuman. He also flies into a berserker rage flailing the dragon slayer about. Additionally, his pupils dissappear. It just makes me think that he tokes up spicy joints with a bunch of angel dust sprinkled on. We already know he's not about using coca!
