Yeah, you can tell when Tomino is depressed or not. Heh, he was obviously in a good mood when he made King Gainer.

It's one of Tomino's lastest series. It's got giant robots, but it's not a Gundam series. It's called Metal Overman King Gainer. You should check it out.

I like 0083, since it got a nice story and the bad guys win in the end.
See 0079 before and Zeta Gundam after to understand story line.

Nimord how about posting what shows you like without giving away the ending?

I've just finished Turn-A gundam.
I must say what it lacked is any degree of tension or excitement, but then again
I found it quite relieving that this time no colonies were blown up, dropped onto cities, etc. Kill'emall Tomino was much more lenient in this show, and the ending was not unsatisfying, although a little too symbolism heavy, as was the entire show.
Mecha designs were very strange, to say the least, and the tech-level even for the moonrace very inconsistent, much more so than usually. Gold-coloured revolvers being used next to raygun shaped.... firearms

That site confused me more than it helped.
From what i can understand Char is in Mobile Suit Gundam and Char's Counterattack?
I dont care about the others that are in the same timeline if it the story isnt the same.
Edit: oh lord i can only find a dub of MSG.....

Do NOT watch Char's counterattack first, it has all the characters acting totally weird. (Actually, watching it first may be the best thing, since then you won't notice how strange it is, however, it's also basically the last story from that universe.)
Try MSG or Zeta to start with.
If you want to dl series go to boxtorrents.

Im not a noob enough to watch his counterattack before i see him lose first
I know i should start with MGS but i can only found dub in boxtorrents and i hate dub i rather never watch it than watch anime dubbed....
Also i rather watch MSG,the movies and Char's counterattack before i watch Zeta since its a sequel and some time after them.

With gundam shows it won't really matter too much too watch them in reversed order, just don't watch Char's Counterattack first.
I also haven't seen MSG, and I don't believe I messed it up for myself. Aren't the movies just a shortened version of the series? In that case maybe only watching the movies should be fine.

I wanna start from the begining and start watching the first gundam and finish with the latest gundam i havent seen.
I dont know about the MSG movies but when i read about them in anidb it seems like they are not the same as MSG rather that they are after it storywise, like an OVA.
Lordmune:
Wasnt you did that liked the the design in Turn A Gundam?
I read that the designer of the characthers and the suits in Turn A was an famous hollywood guy,the same guy that designed Blade Runner.

Syd Mead did some of the mecha designs for Turn-A. However, he didn't only make weird designs like the WaDom, he also did some of the more classical mechas.
