I've never seen gutts do a single 'good' act, and by good I mean a selfless act done for the sake of others with no strings attached to the doer.

Him killing apostles isn't an act of good in my mind, he does it only to satisfy his lust of swinging the sword at the things he thinks has done him wrong.

The only near-decent thing he is doing is trying half-heartedly to find a way to heal caska, and that is more to release himself of the burden of having to watch over her.

, btw I'm barely making the effort of talking about this.. bored waiting for the next chapter.. that's about it..

He always tries to help people even if he acts like he doesn't care for them. He just doesn't want people at his side and lose them again. He has become and twisted maybe evil adult but he still cares for others but doesn't want to get real feelings for other people because he thinks he would lose them. That's just my opinion maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it's the best way for him to live with all this struggling.

And for the killing of Femto, when Guts got the power to kill Femto, the Kushan Emperor will be no problem for him.

Its more like Guts wants to heal caska cause HE LOVES HER, duh I mean common haven't you read berserk or what?? And guts always would sacrifice himself to help others in the manga cause he wouldn't want them to get hurt or killed.

and Guts fought those 100 men just so that Caska could escape. That was kida selfless, and he also swam to the shore with all of his armor on carrying caska, he could have just left her and made it easier on himself to swim to the river bank. I consider these things good acts.

So... anyone else find that Berserk is picking up steam again? (Silly attempt to get chapter thread going again.)

You guys think that Guts and crew will fight with the royals, or skip out to goto Elfheim? If you say both, then I say to you... "We won't make it to Elfheim till end of next year, if that... to many things to kill."

I think they will pick up some more cargo from this upcoming battle. It wouldn't surprise me if several witch-hunters will be accompanying them on their journey to visit the Elf-king. May he smite them...

Guts will fight againt the Kushan thats for sure but i dont know if he will fight with the royals.

They both look alright I think the white might be a little glaring so I guess stick with this one. Oh yeah where in the hell did the Quick Reply,Spellcheck and Edit button go??

As for Guts and crew they may need to fight some Kushan on the way to a ship that will take them to elfheim. If Guts get that urge to fight like he did when he first saw Griffith, I think the same out come will happen he will turn away from the fight to make sure Caska is alright.

I think Guts will bash the kushans, Farnese will convince him to do so.
But it would be hilarious if they all just skipped town instead

Don't forget the girls (forgot her name) vision, the whole city will be destroyed or Guts will even change this future, 'cause the vision is fate related and Guts is (maybe) not. Like with Zodds prophecy.

Or maybe he just says "She said the city was screwed anyway so why even bother, get me some god damn whiskey woman!!" (And with woman I mean Schierke. And by whiskey I mean alcohol. And by "Get me" I mean she has to conjure it).
And then they hi-jack the boat where that pikeneer is hiding (Cant remember his name right now) cuase it´s high time to get him into the story once again.

I hope Guts fight the kushan and go after thier king. I want the old Guts that lived for killing apostles back.

Even if he cares more about Casca right now,he have to save the city from an apostle like that,he is soft nowadays. I mean he even bothered to save Royals.

Yea after reading the part after the Eclipse, when he fights with the Dragonslayer first and declares war, I am with ya! Wanna see that Berserken smile once again!

He was saving Farnese and then after she was saved she gave him the "Save them" face, and Guts, not wanting to hear everyone in his crew bitch and moan, killed all those kitties. I agree if Guts stays for the rest of the battle, it would be a clear chance for him to stop fate. (This would put to rest the whole "does guts make his own destiny" stuff.)

But if I were Guts I would say to my self "let those apostles and Kushan battle it out while I go and save my loved one, I ll come back and mop up the rest. "

For those of you who say "Guts would want to kill them all...." well he has more important things to do.

The crazy face he made after hearing that the king was an apostle made almost sure that he will go after him. When Guts makes that face it mean he will kill someone.

He made that face when he first saw griffith in the flesh, but he didnt go after him. And he would have had a lot more to gain going after griffith then he does going after the "king".

I think that Griffith will roll up with his apostles and Kill the king him self. We know his camp is not to far away.

Yeah but there are enough Kushan to kill for both camps.

I just dont think that Guts and co will be able to just walk out of the city.

Specialy since the king sent the crocodiles afterthem before. They will surely send some monster after them again.
