Yeah, but it's nothing to be disappointed with. That's just how genjutsu types primarily fight. They weren't so much talking, as they were just staring at each other. Don't worry though, even though I consider that they've already been fighting, the fight is going to get very real pretty soon.

I know what just happened? Sasuke looked like he lost an eye, then it looked like Sasuke reversed it making Itachi lose an eye but he still has both. Then bam ending. D=

Yeah, it was kind of weird to try and take his eye in an illusion, but since he used Tsukiyomi, I guess he was just trying to fool him into thinking it was actually happening.

good chapter. We see now how Itachi essentially can't fight after using his high level techniques. So Sasuke is going to win basically by default it seems. Remember after he used the combination earlier he had to go rest combine that with the gradual lose of eyesight. Itachi is done.

The black flames of the ameratsu look really cool. I'm glad for once that the action in this fight is escalating, not like Sasuke's "fatal" stab of a clone, leading to some real fighting...which ended up being an illusion from the Tsukiyomi. Now I hope that the action in the fight doesn't die down before one of them dies.

Now that we know that Itachi's reason for his family's slaughter was just to get Sasuke's eyes and not for some other "greater good" sort of reason, I'm sure that the ending will not be one where everyone gets along.

I never said everyone will get along, but I still think it'll be a happy ending, or at least happyish. I don't think Itachi only killed his clan to get Sasuke's eyes. From what I understood, it was more about proving he was the best, and possibly to destroy them for their dark secret, even though he's doing the same thing. Yeah, still pretty shallow and selfish though. *shrugs*

I think he made himself clear this time, it was to prove himself the best and to ultimately get Sasuke´s eyes. He´s even against´t Madara, since he´s not as strong as before, he´s not worthy to be considered as the strongest Uchiha.....there´s no ends justify the means for the greater good or anything here, it´s all pure greed and power mongering.

But frankly, this last chapter took a turn for the worse, i mean again another huge ninja is physically debilitated and it´s not at his best when fighting Sasuke?

Jesus fucking Christ, i was expecting to see a shit load of jutsus and lot´s of martial fighting but since Sasuke overcame the Tsukuyomi, it went downhill.

I mean, Kamehameha fire balls? They reduced the most overused technique in the series into a Dragon Ball spoof.

Deidara´s fight was much better, hell, it was one of the best fight in the whole series.

Oh well....those black flames were cool.....reminded me of Okami.
