A quick painting, this time it’s Guts. I am not really satisfied with the composition but now it’s too late to change anything. Hope you like it.

Looks awesome, man.
What apostle is the one in the drawing, though? Is it a specific one, or just your generic, run-of-the-mill evil creature?

Wow, thanks
The apostle is your generic one. I just wanted to draw something elongated to depict depth.
edit:
People seem to be having problems seeing the image on DA so I uploaded it to image shack.
Click on the picture for full view; this one is badly cropped, a significant portion to the right is missing.

Here's some stuff I did in textiles art class. The first is fabric ink, the hand drawn with a chopstick in ink then the fabric pressed to it, then the little brands which was a stamp i made out of rubber that I dipped in ink. The second is silk painting, with a brand drawn with resist ink wax (which I hate so much) on silk then colorful inks are added to it. They blend nicely. The two techniques may look kinda silly because I did them so fast, but they can and probably will be worn on t-shirts and washed which I think is pretty cool. Everyone else in the class did landscapes and flowers.

Loved the one-before-last. Very Conanesque.
And the Bechi one, that's just solid gold.
Thanks for always finding this stuff, dude, I appreciate both the effort and the result.
Keep it up!

Hey guys, first post here.
I've dug around a lot and there a LOT of good featured art through out this thread.
Being a artist myself, I love to see so many people contributing to Berserk!
I'm going to honest I'm featured on quite a few BERSERK communities as a member and artist. But what I'm trying to do is expand my art exposure. From seeing new artist to presenting new art myself. Now, I don't want to post art that I've posted on other Berserk forums. So, the art I post here, will exclusive to Evil Genius. My primary and established contributes of Berserk derive from the
CREATION STATION at Skullknight.net. There I have my largest collection of works that I'm presenting. Skullknight.net, I consider my home, but I really am not here to play favorites or promote. I want to give exclusive art here at Evil Genius, because frankly I have a lot to give and its very fulfilling. hehehehehe
Oh and one other thing...its all Casca. Flat out.
So. I'm pleased to among Berserk fans and fellow artist. Hello, Evil Genius community call me DMD. (Yes Lovecraft fan for anyone who get the reference hehehehe.)
Will be contributing shortly!

This isn't Berserk fan art at all but I found the similarity to Berserk very interesting
Looks like Femto's birth but it's actually art for the return of Carnage

That's a lot of pictures, but some very nice finds indeed. Click+saved a few of them even.

Yeah it looks a lot like Griffith's rebirth, but you can tell it's Carnage as well. Very nice.

You might recognize this from the recent chapter 315 since I took the image where Gutts/Gatts
(i read around 50 manga at a time so cut me some slack on the name ) in the armor and on the pirate figurehead of the tentacle ship and used my photoshop skills to make it look even better. I just wish it was a double page so i could of made a cool wallpaper but i guess the artist was too lazy
Original Image from chapter 315

My version(War Machine's post below has the clicky for which i can't seem to get working on here lol)

EDIT: Damn no clicky -_-, ah well
I would like to know if you think there is anything wrong with it because i still feel like it needs something but i just don't know what. If you have a deviantart account please post your opinion there so at least the image/s i make will get some more hits and so you can favorite it if you want

Ruraraid, if anything, that pic makes Guts look a lot shorter than he is, he's a big guy after all, if the stated seven feet twelve Inches is the real size of the Dragonslayer, then Guts is easily 6'8 judging by certain panels (though admittedly the Dragonslayer tends to change size a fair bit, so it may not be the best way to judge.
). He's
huge.
Otherwise that's a bloody good piece!.

Thanks for linking it because for some reason i put the same URL from my deviant page and it still won't work
As for the "red smoke" i think you're looking at his cape which i colored red to make it look like it was stained from the blood of all that he has killed along with the tentacle monsters in chapter 315. It was a real pain in the ass trying to smooth out the textures on the armor and cape to give them that smooth or wavy look

hey blame the mangaka and/or artist not me, i simply edited the manga page for chapter 315 because i wanted to make that image look realistic and bring it to life and also because i know a lot of berserk fans love that armor almost more than they love the character guts
the whole time i never even resized the image at all which is about the only thing that wasnt changed on that image
i still want to go back and edit it, possibly to change the figurehead he is standing on which looks a bit crappy looking in contrast to the rest of the image.

Yeah dude, that's just a coloring of a picture from the manga. It looks fine to me, nice smoky effect with the cloak too. I don't think Guts is that tall. Keep in mind this is a medieval setting where people tend to be shorter than modern day. I'd wager Guts is between 6' 2" - 6' 4", but that's just my own approximation.

That is some kickass coloring... I like the shade of the armor and the eyes far out
